I didn't think there was a way to actually limit how many posts you can make on the forum.
I would like to ask this though...
Keep it somewhat related to Judaism, Monotheism, Israel, History or Culture?
at least on the first post.
Keep the delicious spamminess to the schmooze.
K Thx Bai

Lumanny The Fabulous Prince Babel I say we just make this thread a general chat/spam thread that don't got no rules ('cept for the rules applied by TOS and the Guild Rules.) If this is our all out spam thread then maybe, just maybe, our other topics will stay on track! Crazy, I know, but it's worth a shot. Nice try, but we have TJAM for that. Nah, that thread gets old because you have to use the ^ and <>'s. I want a thread I can spam without doing that crap.

Behatzlacha-S Over the last couple of weeks, the JGG has become slightly more... active. However, that has made it difficult for us to concentrate on more important posts and issues, and has turned the JGG into something of a super-topic, sprinkled very heavily with spam. I think the best possible course of action would be to limit posts to 20 a day, and a minimum post length of 30 words. An extra 20 posts are allowed in the Community Schmooze subforum, and post-size is minimum 5 words there. I do this without confirmation from the Crew, but in my opinion it's for the best. Hopefully, this should calm it down in the short-term, allowing the older frequents such as Neuf, Darkpheonix, Divash, Kingpinsqueezels, etc, to catch up. EDIT: Posts under 10 words with little/no meaning are limited to 5 posts per day in the main forum instead of the previous post-cutting. Posting if what you say is valid is never limited. People the restriction applies to:Lummany Behatzlacha-S To a degree, Silent, though she will have some leeway for various reasons. You do realize that is ridiculous my friend.

SlamuelBTP Whoa, whoa, WHOA.
Since when is keeping a guild active bad? Activeness is awesome, and I'm glad to see it. But when people are so active, they completely get off topic in discussion threads and start chatting when the creator actually had a legitimate question/discussion. So I'm not saying people can't still post (definitely NOT the case), but rather, limit what they post in discussion threads so others can keep up with the conversations and post freely in a few specified ones. And don't get me wrong- I am happy to have an active guild again. biggrin
