I wore a new dress I got a couple of weeks ago. It's not really that steam punk related but if incorporated a certain way it could, in a vintage way. I'd have to post pics of it later, if you look at it it has lace and frill around the actual collar and buttons down. I wore my lace pine stripe socks with it as well as my mary jane looking heels with it today. I felt sorta 1920's looking really.

As always, more punk than steam - but today with a touch of aviation, mostly thanks to my cosy 15$ boots (brown leather with white sheep fur lining), one of my baker boy caps and the extra-long scarf.
Half my kingdom for a more steampunk-ish outfit (or the money to buy one... or the time to make one razz ).

Sadly I find myself unable to dress steampunk most days as blouses and bunson burners dont get along but when able to I'll get dressed up.   And ofcourse nicer events I might go a bit more all out.  Sorry if these have streched the page.

Theres lots of those and thrift stores all around where I live so Im lucky enough to have quite a selection of stuff. The green skirt is just a bustle that goes on top of another skirt, I made it out of some scraps.

I got to wear my new overalls today! They're engineer/conductor overalls, like you would see on someone working on a train (you know, with the white vertical stripes going through the dark blue). They're a little long, so I had to cuff them up over my ever present army/work boots, but it's still pretty fun. With the overalls, and boots, I'm wearing a collared white shirt with the sleeves rolled up just past my elbows (as they happen to be a little short), and my also ever present wristband/leather cuff.
Now I shall go to school and see how people react!

I stayed in my pajamas all day. Go me. (What?! I'm an unemployed college student!)
I personally don't have the guts to dress steam punk. I think the closest would ever do is, if I'm ever able to save up the money, get a pair of custom prescription vintage goggle glasses. I mean I'm sure I could find some goggle glasses, but I'm as blind as a bat so I wouldn't be able to wear them unless I got them customized with prescription lenses.
My best friend dresses pretty steam punkish, but that's because she's a dancer.

I wish I could hang out in pj's all day..but my school is kind of critical of everyone's clothing (the students..not the teachers) most of the time. I do manage to hang out in dress pants with the occasional pocket watch most days though!
