Little Divintra? He felt a flushing blush warming his cheeks once more, particularly after the small stroking down his back. Vic seemed so easy when it came to personal contact with a drow he had only met that day. Maybe the fact that he had saved him from the drider had made the impression that he was pretty much harmless? Well...it could be true. Divintra had managed thus far to go through life without hurting anyone. He had no acknowledged skills when it came to attack or defense for that matter. perhaps he exuded a sense of non-hostility that others were able to detect. That would surely account for his ability to obtain so many delivery jobs unquestioningly. Of course...he still had the strange shaman's doom saying hanging over his head constantly and he could not deny that sometimes he wondered if his skin color played a larger part in his fortune then he was aware of. Divintra pressed his seeing ball tightly between his palms as he gave Vic's dwelling a attentive look over. He could hear the bolts being drawn across the door, but he felt no sense of alarm. Not yet anyways. At least Vic seemed understanding of his excitement. That really did help his nerves a bit. It also helped curb his enthusiasm a little. At Vic's encouragement, he slipped his shoulder bag off and stepped forwards to place it on the low table. As the leather flopped onto it's side, Lin whisped her way from inside and slowly floated over to take a place upon the visually exploring Divintra's shoulder.
"Oh. I don't mind a cold bath Vic. You really don't have to go to so much trouble." Divintra spoke as he directed his attention to the cupboard that held the blankets and cushions. Unquestioningly Divintra moved to collect the items, though he gave a wary glance to the one that Mavis was supposed to have claimed for her own. "Ah. Then I'll be sure to stay away from that one then. I'd not like to upset her in the least." Divintra focused on opening, and pulling from within enough cushioning for both himself and Vic. He'd wash up quickly before he'd make use of them of course, but he was eager to hurry along so the pair of them could begin to speak a bit more comfortably. He had so many question's!! But...He had to wait, he did not want to be reprimanded a second time..er...well...cautioned. Yes. That is what it was. he had been cautioned. The fact that Vic had called Div a kid had not gone un-noticed by the boy in the least. He was acting like a child wasn't he?

The perpetual smile that seemed to have taken up permanent residence on the older males face since meeting his pale little companion broadened all the more when the curious mist form once again appeared. "Why hello again, Miss Lin!" He greeted, retrieving the largest pot from it's place hanging to the side of the fire-place, dipping it into a barrel of water then setting it on the frame to the front of the fire to start heating through. "I trust you'll be joining us for supper this evening?" He teased the mist-form just a little. Could she even eat? It was going to be a fun evening in all manner of ways!
"Ah, thank you, Divintra." He finally noticed his younger companion, having retrieved the blankets and other such soft articles was now standing quite patiently, awaiting further instructions. He was impressed that he had managed to hold his tongue for so long after the doors had been bolted! He did seem so full of questions! "Here, then.." He pushed himself up to his feet, leaving the fireside as it crackled more and more animatedly, the water wasn't going to boil any quicker if he sat and watched it anyway! "If you are more than sure that you are good to bathe in cool water.. It's no bother if you want it heated.." He raised an eyebrow, walking jut past the small male and burrowing into the cupboards again, re-appearing with more blankets. "Well, this way then.." He feigned a doomed tone, making his way through the small doorway to the side of the main room, ducking a little to avoid hitting his head, "And you can leave the blankets and pillows on the bed." He noted, pulling aside a thick sort of curtain to reveal the washroom. He hadn't been fibbing when he had said it was a small and simple affair, revealing a fairly shallow tub, a few shelves housing a few well sealed jars and a couple of barrels tucked into the corner. He gave Divintra an apologetic look. "It really is something of a case of just dumping water over yourself and scrubbing... Though you may have more luck with the tub as you haven't got some monstrous height on you like yours truly!" He patted a large hand down onto Divintras shoulder. "Will you be okay then if I leave you to it? Everything you need should be in here, washing things on the shelves and there will be a container of some form by the barrels for the water. I'll leave you some blankets just outside on the end of the be for you to dry ourself on. I imagine you're really going to want them when you're done.. Then you can come and warm yourself by the fire and we can eat and finally talk. Sound like a plan?" He gave the shoulder beneath his hand a firm squeeze.
"If you need anything, just holler, okay? It's not like I won't be able to hear you only next door." Again he grinned and stepped back out of the room, drawing the curtain across after him and gave the thin bed a look.. It was really weird playing host! First off, he hadn't done so for such a long time, the other was that is just wasn't something he normally did.. Well, with the exception of his numerous lady-friends.. But since finding such an interesting and steady lover in the most unusual place he hadn't wanted to bring any other woman to his bed. He mused as he folded blankets over the serviceable bed-roll, fluffing up a pillow and draping another thick blanket over the whole affair, leaving, as promised, warm blankets at the foor of the frame before collecting the excess blankets and pillows and dragging them back into the main room. He'd sort himself out a place to sleep later. For now it was time to see what dried provisions he could score from the cupboards and feed to the now boiling water!

Lin's mist form had fluttered away from Divintra a bit, the nosey creature seemed more then a little interested in the task Vic was performing. her head tilted and watched as he filled the pot with water and she floated along to continue monitoring his progress. When Vic would tease her about eating, she placed her hands upon her hips and glanced up at him with as stern a expression that she could muster, as if to scold him for such silliness on his part. When Vic left the pot to boil, lin remained behind so she could stare into the water slowly warming within.
Divintra's child like eagerness did not abate in the least as he waited for Vic's instruction. "No no. Really it is fine. I take bath's in cold water all the time so it's no bother. No reason to change that now." Divintra flopped the blankets and pillows on a bed that was spoken of before returning his attention to the small curtained area that Vic revealed. His apologetic expression was met with one of delight on Divintra's part though. His purple eyes glittered just as did his white smile as Vic's hand came down on his shoulder. "It is just fine. Far better then what I have in my home. All I've got is a bucket and I have to fill that by carrying a water skin into the room. This is a really nice washroom in compare." His head bobbed happily up and down as Vic seemed to hover rather un-neccessarily over him. "I will not be long. Thank you Vic."
Divintra waited for Vic to withdraw before turning his attention more fully to the room. It really was nice to the young drow. The bathing tools he had used rarely included a tub that he could completely immerse himself in after all. With a soft happy humm, he set to stripping his cloths from his body and filling the shallow tub with water. Whild Vic fussed over bedding and carried on to prepare the meal, Divintra scrubbed his white skin until he was satisfied the last grey smudge was gone from both his skin and hair. Following which, he dunked his clothing into the water and carefully cleaned them as best he could with the remaining water and a bit of soap. It would be good to get the soft rothe hide clean and looking like new. Divintra wrapped his wet cloths together, then twisted them to wring them out as best he could. From his messenger bag, he withdrew a thin pair of corse grey pants. Remnants of his much more pitiful life before he had obtained his current position of courtier, he donned the pants as he often did to wait for his good cloths to air dry. He allowed his damp hair to lie flat to his head, he could comb it out later once it started to dry out.
While it was that Divintra tended to his body and cloths, Lin watched Vic preparing the meal. As swirls of steam began to waft up from the pot, she amused herself by sweeping through the cloudy air, her form growing increaseingly less opaque as she managed to pull into herself some of the steam. Her body grew much more defined, and by the time Divintra shuffled out from the bath room, a blanket wrapped over him like a oversized cloak, she had collected enough steam to just about look solid. Divintra smiled at Lin, noting her happy expression, then he turned to peer at Vic. "All done! I hope you don't mind but I left my wet cloths in the washroom to dry. I was thinking I could set them near the fire after we are done eating?" His eyes flickered curiously towards the pot, and he shifted his stance a bit. "So...can I ask things now or should I wait till after dinner? I know it's not really poliet but... I just am a bit excited and all..."
