Exhibition match is just a normal match. Singles. One on one...normal.

It's Mike's way of adding a title to each match.

Also, incase some of you are unaware, a "dark match" is something that is not traditionaly televised and used more to see chemisty or to try out newer people and should not be the focus of a promo or otherwise mentioned at all in character.
