What will you remember most about this year?
For me, I think it will be...
-Olympic 2008 Beijing.
The opening ceremony.
The closing ceremony
The diving competition.
Men gymnastic and women. [Age controversy.]
Ping pong...
Badminton
Torch relay and protest.
Anti-cnn.com
Sichuan Earthquake.
2008 Election
Generally the endless campaign ads. Yay mudslinging.
Minnesota Senate race. o_o I've never seen one that tight/close before.
Obama winning the election.
Lol the governor of Illinois scandal!
Oh and Detriot Lions fail..
-Hello kitty online and LaTale.
-GM and Ford bailout. =o American cars don't fare too well..
- Ending the year for the continued violence in the middle east.
~Israel and Gaza. >.<;;
Personal life~
-All the people I've met this year and the things I've learned.
-All the financial worries I've encountered with school.
-The time I've taken off.
-The personal drama I ended up in. @_@;
And happy early new years ICU.

The first half of the year was farely tame, but the second half was a wild rollercoaster of events, not just for the world but also personally as well.
First the Olympics, with the Russia-Georgian war alongside, then the Global Financial Crisis, the gruelling US election campaign, and finally the ever deepening recession towards the end of the year. As for me personally, the second half saw me move house, write a mini-thesis to complete my Bachelor Degree, get not one but three dogs, and ended with my grandmother in a critical condition and one of my granduncles dying.

cold_blooded_chick Gosh, lots of stuff happened. Too much to write actually, so all I can say is: s**t happens. stare lol, so true... right now I'm working at arby's and let me tell you, drive-thru can be friggin weird. One guys change equaled 4.20 and he tried to give me pot as a tip, it was in my friggin hand! ...two cars later was a cop car... and then i got asked out! not to weird, right? ...a guy asked me out...

I will always rember the year of the rat as the year of death, too much drama, obama winning, and me going to college. I won't forget about the olympics nor what sharon stone said about the sichuan earthquake.
