Why, when I fell down a hill the only question I was asked was, "Is your cello ok?" A million people came up to me in Orchestra just to ask me that. I was like I fell down a hill, shouldn't you be asking me if my head is ok.

most people assume that an instrument is more fragile than the owner. That is why people ask about the instrument.
my friend was ran over and the first two questions he was asked was: Is your bike ok? and What kind of car was it?

I've never actually fallen with my saxophone, but at band camp last year it was sitting on its case during a break, and this girl accidentaly kicked my case when she walked by with a bass drum, my sax wasnt even in the way, was with all the other instruments, but anyway it slid accross the cement....luckily it was okay! mrgreen
I hate the sound of dropping instruments on cement mad

Lol, wow... that's what I got asked when I tripped while trying to get off the drummajor stand and slammed onto my arm. First thing the second piccolo does "Is your piccolo ok?" And then my drum major, "Oh my gosh! SHE BROKE HER ARRRRMMM!!!" Because the guy I was dating at the time had broken his arm a few weeks before, lol

Nenianos Haha! Its funny when people only like you for the instrument you play XD Aww, sad day... I admit, I'd ask about the instrument first, person second. Instruments are generally more breakable and more expensive than people.
