In the mochrome night... So, say a face hugger got to a psychic or telekinetic. Would the dna assimilation that normally goes about pick up on any of it? Do you think the xenomorph would have psychic or telekinetic abilities too, and would they be able to harness them the same way a human would, possibly with their large brain would they be able to amplify the abilities to an even greater extent. I mean, humans use what, 2% of their brain capacity or something to that extent right?
Well, how much does a xenomorph use then? And, they've already got the psychic connection to the queen. So, it's already there, but only just so... Would hugging a human or other sentient being with psychic powers do anything at all even?
Just a thought that popped into my head a bit ago, and even created an alien character off the basis of the idea. Anyone else have impute, Chupi your opinion and knowledge would be greatly appreciated in this matter. my eyes fade to black

The mental capabilities of a person really shouldn't effect a xenomorph, as it has nothing to do with genetics. Though some super heroes, such as the mutants from X-Men, would be perfect examples of hosts who could give a xenomorph embryo "powers."
For example, in WILDCATS vs Aliens, which actually was made CANON in the WILDCATS continuity after killing off a number of heroes and villains from the franchise's past... o_O We saw one xenomorph whose host had been a pyrokinetic, and it had fire breath.
Although, since in recent X-Men incarnations they refer to it as a Mutant X gene... It's possible the gene has little relevance to what an individual's power is, just that it is there. In which case introducing the gene to a hive could produce some very interesting, unique results not necessarily related to the abilities of the drones' hosts.

A psychic Xeno wouldn't make a very good character. It's just not really very Xenomorphy. They're more like hiding in dark shadows, assassin hunters than full out warriors like the Predators. A psychic Pred might be good. _____________________________________________________ >>> <<<

Said presence is even hinted at in some of the newer books and in Alien3, in which the runner appeared to have influence over a certain inmate's actions while he was not of sound mind. (A recurring theme in the Earth War trilogy. Xenomorphs somehow manipulating the mentally ill to aid them.) Psychic powers to a warrior? Bah, that's a bit counter-productive. Especially to one that belongs to a culture in which the pursuit of knowledge is outright frowned upon in the favor of a primal, survival of the fittest. Psychic capabilities are better left to creatures of darker or more cunning purpose. (Not to say some preds aren't damn cunning, but I'm having a hard time finding a better way to put this.)

In the mochrome night... Well, as every rpg I've ever joined on that site, it died. But the events were lining up that the xenomorph was becoming that of like a psudo king/queen.
And Alien 3 was what sparked the idea. my eyes fade to black

dark1489 if the power was genetic it could pass on speaking of that i want to see the hulk infected that alien would b beast! The alien would have to break free from Bruce Banner when he isn't Hulk... otherwise it'll just remain inside trying to break out.

Vinessa_Valentine dark1489 if the power was genetic it could pass on speaking of that i want to see the hulk infected that alien would b beast! The alien would have to break free from Bruce Banner when he isn't Hulk... otherwise it'll just remain inside trying to break out. The chances of a successful burst is slim with concerns with Xenos and Banner. If Banner does get dosed with Xeno DNA chances are his body will reject the foreign DNA since he'll turn Hulk immediately,if not and he does get "Impregnated" then the chestburster will never leave considering the power banner has. Example people suggest that when his head his cut of as banner he'll immediately snap back into the Hulk and regenerate then.
Still it's a silly notion looking for a buff alien. I mean I saw the early concept art for the Alien in Alien3 (Merged with Ox DNA) It looked slow,lazy...and fat. 80

As I recall either in Alien vs Witchblade (something along those lines) I believe it was refered to as a dark alien or something like that. The thing was more curved (kinda reminded me of mewtwo) and had psychic abilities, I think. Either that or some rediculous dark power.....can't be sure exactly.
