would you reccomend buying crappy armour with gem slows from the ah and filling them with +hit gems?
If you kept any of your BC gear (if you have any with gem slots that is) I'd regem that with hit. Otherwise you wont find much cheap stuff on AH with gem slots, so no.
If MC breaks too much for you, you might have to respec into the shadow hit rating talent but from what I hear it's fairly easy and doesn't break too terribly often, your tanks and other priest will have to be on the ball though. I have all my hit rating gear as a precaution, I've only once had an MC break on me.
