He left that sort of duty for someone that had the patience for it. Oh, he could be patient, very patient. He just had no interest in joining a group that guarded a relic that nobody ever got to see anymore. It was pointless. No one wanted the slagging thing anymore, so what was the purpose of the knights? The sleek silver mech switched gears, speeding up as he hit one of the less than optimal sectors. The knights called it Gamma sector, he called it South Side Iacon. Jazz lived on the other side of Iacon Circle, which was miles from here. Still, his sense of adventure drew him back here nearly every day. Anything to get him out of the mundane tasks of day to day functioning. A slightly pitchy voice came over his communications, sounding both aggravated and alarmed at the same time. "You are in direct violation of safety code 07D. Please diverge from your current course and return to the marked sector." Jazz grinned. It was always fun to rile Red Alert. That mech needed to learn how to take it easy. His paranoia was going to kill him someday, if Inferno ever let the smallish mech out of his site. Now that was another thing; the rumor going around about Red Alert and Inferno. He shook himself mentally, finally replying to the message by turning on his internal radio and blasting the other mech's audios with sound. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gaian Name: x_Laugh_Live_Love_x Level of Literacy: Literate to Advance What level partner they should be at? Role play sample: (An extract of a previous role play Or the first post of the chosen role play) Quote: The warehouse was buzzing, humming, thrumming. This was crazy, three weeks now and the city had been theirs for the taking. It was pretty strange really, sweet yes, but strange. Kir couldn’t help but wonder how long this could last, and if it kept going on, how much the balance would be destroyed. The city was used to change, to the swing, the knife the bite. Let it get settled too long and something more nasty then even they wanted could go down- when really, all any of them wanted was an easy ride. Maybe it was time to shake things up a little. It wasn’t like he could expect to think in that excitement- the air was thick with it, the boys were sucking down beers like they were soda, Jeff and a few others were already high in the corner, doing lines of the side of their guns. He couldn’t loose it. Leaders had to be fit to lead. Whenever, wherever. That wasn’t to say that Kir never did the dirty, it wasn’t really rare that you’d find him pissed up, drugged up and getting it up behind some dirty club. Before, during and after a fight though, those were the times that complete sobriety were needed. Especially on days like this. The excitement everyone else was feeling was permeated with volatility. The Roses of the Thorn were powerful now, more powerful than one gang had been in this city for a good long while, but Kir knew, most of it was down to luck. The fights were violent and unpredictable yes, but what mattered was who got the punch in first, no one side was stronger than the other. So, here Kir was. Walking down a street in the midst of the city, his polished boots creating heavy footfalls, that ricocheted off the grimy brick walls either side of him. A feint smell of soya crept past him with the wind, and carried also the laughter of men. Boys. Gang members. No one else would bother hanging around here, no one else would be brave or stupid enough. Technically, neither gang held any ownership over any part of the city, the fight was won, said gang would take all incoming, free rides and privileges over for that week. It was true though, that the east side was inhabited by Suns and the West by Thorns, that’s just the way it was. Anything in between was no-mans land. This ally was said unclaimed. Kir wasn’t particularly an easy man to miss, not to say he was huge, rather average frame, not a great build, just enough musculature to flex under tanned skin as he stretched. His head was clean shaven, small beads of sweat trailed down his neck as he walked, and a tribal tattoo marked the place a knife had cut him behind the right ear. Today he wore a white tank top and beaten jeans. Just the thing for a fight, and yes, as he bent down, he pulled a shiny flick knife from the top of his heavy boots. He rounded the corner, large brown eyes seeming to flame as he stared into the faces of five giggling members of the Black Sun. He wondered how long it would take for the laughter to die on the ends of their tongues.

He looked back at Byoux and at the street as he had just put down his jacket and the umbrella. His piercing eyes flicked over a form that he did not knew, only knew it should be a human being, yet didn't knew whether it was good or bad. He moved forward fast, pushing Byoux aside hard to gain more space at the door. He sat there on his knees. His eyes pinned on the english looking man. His gray hair was covering half his face, her eyes held a gleam. The man should be able to see it if he looked really good. The gray haired samurai in the doorway was happy it was raining, he could watch from here without drawing attention to him. The rain would make him look like he was about to fade away from a distance. He sat perfectly still. Following the mans every move. This man was one of those rich enligh man, he knew this much. He knew also that he had to watch out. A rich man could just go to the government and turn this village upside down if he wanted to. Seti would not let that happen.

Preferably one-on-one, but I will do both if I can. Genres absolutely WON'T role play? Twilight Yaoi/Yuri Role play sample: With Dustin's words Sakura snapped out of her reverie. She instantly slouched over her plate and the entire of her forearms rested on the table, pushing her plate out to give them room. Her left arm raised up off the table only when she placed food into her mouth. Though despite the new position that she adopted that may or may not have been more comfortable Sakura still didn't look happy. On the outside it looked as though she was an emotionless robot that would comply to his harsh-toned demands. It was her cerulean eyes that betrayed her looks, ever the mirror into her soul. In them was the look of sorrow, disappointment and grief.
She had been compared again... Despite all that she had been through she was still being compared. Her parents had always compared her to every wealthy child that they encountered, as long as that person was between the ages of three to twenty-three years old. 'Why can't you ever be like him?' or 'You should act more like such-and such.' She was sick of it. Most children would break down after a while and form some sort of obsession with being perfect in order to make their parents happy, spending all of their time and energies into being the perfect son or daughter. She guessed that it was there that she differed from the rest of the children. Instead of an obsession with perfection, or trying to become better to suit the high standards of her parents Sakura was the opposite. She gave up, stopped caring or even tried to work against the wishes of her parents. It was the less stressful way of getting through the blurred months of grey.
She finally remembered him. Ever since she had first looked into his face back in her cage she had been racking her brain over where she had seen Dustin before. She knew that his family and hers were business partners, but the fact that the name and he were one and the same didn't connect until now. It had been seven years ago on a small post-celebration of Dustin's 20th birthday, though in truth it was more like a gathering to converse about wealth and business between the two super-powers than anything else. She had been only nine at the time, which told of the great difference in their ages. It was funny how he actually didn't seem that much older than her now that she was almost an adult herself.
He still had that uncomfortable aura about him. A boring but unnerving aura that kept her on edge. Dustin's grandfather, who had also attended the small gathering of five had a much friendlier and docile aura to him than his own grandson. It was apparent that she would prefer to hover around the older man than the younger despite the closer age. She couldn't understand how her parents could stand in such close proximity to Dustin. Couldn't they feel his aura that made her feel so on edge? Or maybe they were just too power-hungry that they ignored their instincts or were blinded by the prospect of money and further wealth.
Even so, they had soon forced Sakura to stand by them, leaving the safety of the outer bubble behind and into the suffocating presence of the young wealthy that was Dustin. They openly made fun of her, comparing her to Dustin and how insegnificant that she was compared to the seemingly perfect man. But she didn't think that he would remember. It was seven years ago and she had changed a lot since their first meeting. Back then she had blonder hair and a rounder, chubbier body.
Back then she had always found eating a rather enjoyable sport. The feeling of chewing and swallowing was delightful for her. The need to feel that happiness led her to gain a bit of weight during the years that she had lived with her parents. Maybe it was the fact that it was one of the few happy times that she had while living in the Nakego household, the pleasurable taste, the fact that her eating was the one thing that she could control or something else. She didn't know, but she had a rather large appetite back then.
Maybe her body had unconsciously known of her parent's inevitable abandonment of her to the slave trade and had her eat to build up life-saving fat stores. Indeed, she most likely would have starved to death if it hadn't been for her excess fat because of the neglect that the traders had given her and the others. Since her first day in her cage to now she had lost over 70% of her fatty deposits, rendering her rather skinny. Her body had indeed survived because of her excess weight and surely would have finally broken down if she was skinny during the time of her being brought there.
She finnished her meal and pushed her plate farther across the table before resting her head on her arms.

Quote: *._.·´ ♪ `·._.*._.·´ ♪ `·._.*._.·´ ♪ `·._.*._.·´ ♪ `·._.*._.·´ ♪ `·._.*._.·´ ♪ `·._.*._.·´ ♪ `·._.*._.·´ ♪ Sayuri kept shooting nervous glances out the window of her sleeper cabin on her way through the English country side. It certainly was a beautiful country, this 'Igirisu', with it's rolling hills and spacious fields. Nothing at all like the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. The closest she'd ever seen to this sort of peaceful countryside, was when she'd visited the Onsen in the Honshu prefecture. She fidgeted with her pajamas again, having just been woken by a particularly sharp turn on the rail line.
Sayu had felt so odd while boarding the old-fashioned railway car, having been used to riding the Shinkansen all around her native country of Nihon. It gave her a sort of humble feeling, mellow and calming, to be riding such a classic type of train. Over the years she'd grown tired of everthing always having to be so advanced in comparison to things every other country had. She was proud of her people, but they just didn't know how to appreciate things as they were...
She turned to look towards her cabin door as she heard more of the passengers begin to stir, and decided now was the time to get changed and ready for the big day. She slid her overnight bag out from under the converted bed, and pulled out everything she needed for her outfit. She glanced timidly at the cabin door, shuffling over and checking that it was locked, before shedding her lilac-colored silk pajamas.
She dressed in the outfit her and her Mother had decided on before she'd set off on the long, connecting train route from that small station in Russia. The delicate, Egyptian cotton of the billowy, strapless chemise with the champagne-colored ribbon tied under the bust line to define her figure, was soft on her silky skin. She decided to keep with the billowing, flowing style of the top with a pair of loose-fitting black gaucho pants. They clung to her shapely hips gently, accenting them but not overly so. A vibrant smile lit up her features as she pulled out the farewell present her Father had given her. A beautiful set of strung pearl necklace and bracelet, two strands on each piece and fastened with more champagne-colored ribbon. She slipped the bracelet on her dainty wrist, and tied the other about her throat. She ran her fingers along the strands of pearls at her neck, a melancholy look on her face. She would miss her parents. She finally slid her feet into the slight-heeled boots to complete the look.
She only had just enough time to brush her hair out and finish her morning routine, before the train finally clattered it's way into King's Cross station. She waited until most of the passenger's had left, that old Japanese custom of being overly polite ruling her actions, while she gathered her on board things. She pulled on her shawl, as she'd heard England could be rather chilly, and got ready to set off. Her overnight bag and purse were slung over one shoulder, while her violin case was clutched to her chest.
As she exited the train, she let out an exasperated sigh as she saw the hired driver there to pick her up. Of course. She wasn't even trusted enough to hail a cab for herself. He even had all of her luggage ready on a cart. She hurried over to him as he waved sheepishly, and she bowed her head slightly in greeting. The Englishman awkwardly returned the gesture, obviously not used to it. She allowed him to take her overnight bag, but held onto her purse and violin as they made their way to the car. She slid into the seat and watched the buildings and city atmosphere pass her by as they drove along. She pointed excitedly as they passed Big Ben and The London Eye ferris wheel, and the driver chuckled at her enthusiasm.
And then, there it was. Noddington Hill's. She hurried out of the car as soon as it came to a stop, and shooed the driver away as he tried to help her with her luggage. It all had wheels anyways, she just piled the smaller cases on top of the largest one and waved her goodbye's to the man, before rushing off past the school gates. She gazed around as soon as she was passed the entrance to the large dorm building, then blushed and fumbled with her violin case as the Secretary called out to her.
She went over and had to shift her belongings awkwardly to free a hand so she could sign paperwork and get her room key. She bowed again quickly, giving the woman a gentle smile, before grabbing the case handle again. "S-Sank-you!" She called back as she hurried off towards her new home. She came to the long hall of dormitories, and quickly found her own room. There were small groups of students scattered about in the hall between her and her room, but she hurried past them nervously. She wanted to meet her roommate first, then she'd give proper introductions to others in the school. She pulled open the door to the small but cozy little room, and noticed that she was the first to arrive. She set her things on her bed, being very gentle with her prized violin, before glancing around.
Two desks on opposite sides of the room, everything was in perfect symmetry. Two beds against two uniformly white walls, two dressers and closets, everything came in twos. It was all...too japanese. Too pristine, too perfect. She didn't like it. When her roommate arrived, she'd have to talk to him about rearranging the room a bit.
Her cheeks suddenly flushed vividly. She had forgotten that she'd have a male roommate. It was unheard of back home, but apparently coed rooming was common in western countries. She took a calming breath and glanced around again. Her eyes widened as they fell on a pair of french doors that lead out to a small balcony. She'd missed it while taking in all of the mundane aspects of the room. She took her violin from it's case and went out onto the balcony to play for a while to calm herself.

Role play sample: Kaim was waltzing through the business section, heading home. While walking he saw two figures slip into a shop just up the road, and smelled the same stench of blood from not too long ago. So...finding a place to calm down and clean up huh? Kaim didn't really know what exactly they were doing but that was his guess. The young vampire had seemed shaken up by the whole ordeal. He walked up to the entrance and stood off to the side. Reaching into his jacket he pulled out a crinkled up cigarette and flipped open his lighter. Lighting the cigarette he inhaled deeply. He didn't really crave them, nor did he feel their effects, but they always helped him relax for some strange reason. Habit, he supposed. All you'd be able to see of him would be the tiny light coming from the lit end of the cigarette. He waited outside for the two figures to step back outside.

She pulled on the thick, black ribbon around her neck. Wearing that thing was like being strangled like a really weak person. But, taking it off would raise to many questions. She tripped over a couch leg, falling onto a long, dull, gray-black nail. She pulled it out of her shoulder, wincing slightly at the pain, then it healed back up as if nothing ever happened. The chilly January wind whipped her hair around her face, and she needed to hide the hole in her shirt. Jacket, jacket... Where was the coat closet again? She wondered to herself, clamoring through the rubble until she found her coat. The soft, canvas, army-green coat felt warm and familiar in her hands, despite the frigid air. She slid her thin, pale arms into the sleeves and pulled her shoulder-length, dark blonde hair out of the collar. She pulled it close to her, sheltering herself from the wind, and sighed. Eventually, she would have to move on and find somewhere to stay. No time like the present.
