Okay well I got it from my friend for an X-mas gift and well I'll be damned I was hyped a little but that was a mistake.
Emil Castinager (sp?) and Marta (who gives a hell her last name) were not good picks for characters.. Marta should find a ditch and die and Emil needs to stop being Ratatosk bi-polar. Emil at the end is better more normal ish...
Monster pact system... I felt like I was catching and raising cooler looking Pokemon.. They do lvl up way to bloody fast.. and I found some monsters just annoying and in the way. (Imp) I found the Wolf to be the best monster I owned due to Fenrir evolution...
They changed a few things that I loved from the first but a neutral addition was the more interactivity with the Katz Katz.
I just saw it more like Tales of Symphonia 1.2 cause if you think about it the plot is almost the same.. find eight summon spirits in Symphonia 1 and find eight Centurions in Symphonia 2 but then it gets all conjumbled and well plot changes and what not.
All and all not a must buy in my opinion but still a fun game to some degree.
