The sorrow in this new and strange helix was rather obvious and Wolffie felt some pity for him... Actually, a lot of pity. He wanted to snuggle with this helix as if he were a pup and he wanted to reassure him that everything would eventually be alright.
Wolffie never really hated Two-Legs, but as of right now he had a severe dislike. They had done something wrong and had turned Little One into a mere pet, something beneath their species.
"Have you ever hunted before, little one?" He asked sweetly as he swished his fluffy tail and walked at an even, comfortable pace.

"Sometimes I caught the field mice behind the two-leg den. And once I caught a crying gull on the shore. Oh! And there was the time Master threw the stick into the sea and I chased it. I thought I caught the stick, but I caught a fish instead. A big brown one!" he sounded like this was a miraculous feat.
"Other then that my master gave me food. Can we hunt any kibble-bits?" he was pressed almost right against his new friend.

Wolffie couldn't help but to stare blankly at the funny dog-pet-helix. This was definitely all wrong. Completely wrong. How could anyone actually do this to one of them!?
"Kibble and bits? What is that? Some sort of two-leg dog food? No, out here we hunt live things... You know, like those mice or that fish. It's a lot of work, but if you can't do it, you starve."

He panted. "Its my yummy dinner!" he said. "little brown pieces of dry...crunchy stuff. its good. Master used to feed me it every night." He padded closer and saw the scarf on wolffie and took it, holding it in his maw as a sort of guide.

The Omega was tempted to turn around and growl at the other for grabbing his scarf, but quickly thought the better of it. In many ways, Inuneko had never grown. He was like a gigantic pup and Wolffie would have to treat him as such. He continued to pad on, ignoring the fact taht his beloved scarf was in the maw of the other helix.
"Dry brown crunchy stuff... Sounds disgusting. No, everything out here is fresh and delicious! After having your first taste of real food, you will never want to go back. Believe me, Little One, you will like it out here much better."

Inuneko didn't seem convinced and he looked over his shoulder again at the fading beach. He whined. "So where do you sleep?" he asked, flesh against flesh with his new friend. "Are there any rugs and fire places?"

"Of course not! Those are two-leg things! No, we Helix sleep out in the wild, beneath the beautiful stars! Dens are often used. You know, places in the ground that keep us warm, dry, and safe!" The Omega replied quietly as Inuneko pressed against him. "It is rather nice... Or you can seek shelter beneath the trees and bushes, they will offer some protection. Either way, there is no taint of man out in the forests, where we roam."

He whined. "I only had to sleep outside if I was bad. Master's mother would throw me out if i took food off the table. She was loud, but I did like the dad. He used to have rough tumbles with me inside. He was my alpha." he wagged his long tail and kept close to the other helix. "But I like you too."

"We're always outside here, unless we are in a den. You will like it, eventually. It's different, though." He could hardly imagine spending so much time near two-legs, let alone inside their dens! He shuddered at the thought and led the other Omega along.
"You won't have a two-leg alpha again. We need to find a pack. If they have room, maybe we could stay there and serve a real alpha."

He tilted his head almost all the way to the side and made a soft "mew?" noise, the scarf still in his maw. He wagged his tail as he followed after. "Aren't you my alpha?" he asked curiously. "Or am I yours? I'm the one holding the leash."

Wolffie blinked in mild confusion as he listened to the strange helix speak. He tilted his head to one side and a dark ear flicked pack as the other perked. What was this strange one rattling on about? What was a leash?
"I'm not an alpha, and you are clearly not alpha material. You'd probably be like me, and omega. We don't hunt, but we do stay in a pack. We often pup-sit and tell stories. Bottom rung, but hey, the pack keeps us safe." He explained as he studied the blue wonder that came from man with a slight feeling if pity.
"So, no, neither of us are alphas. What is a leash, anyways?"

"Leash is a human word. It this....its like a rope that connects you to the human. It keeps you close to them when they go outside. I liked it, because it meant me and master were going on a nice walky!" he bounced around like a loon.

"Stop that!" The omega chided the other as he flounced around. Not only was he tugging on Wolffie's scarf as he did so, but he could give them away to predators or unkind helix. "Calm down, before we find ourselves in trouble, Little One. And this is not a... Leash. No leashes here!"

He tilted his head far to the left, then to the right as he stopped boucning, giving a little whine. He nudged Wolffie, not understanding what danger was. He crouched down and suddenly leaped atthe older helix. "PLAY FIGHT!" he shouted, not knowing what a real fight felt like.

Wolffie jumped what seemed several feet into the air, surprised by the younger Omega's sudden playful pounce. He whirled around on the younger helix and growled soundly, though his tail shifted in a slightly playful wag and he bopped at the male lightly with a paw.
"Playfight, my tail! You're going to get us into trouble, you know, kiddo."
