@ Razull- I agree. The same limitation would apply also to whoever leads the Jedi.
@ Kyra- Personally, I do too, because it'd be easiest, and there's the most information.

i like the idea of playing a part in the "next chapter" of KOTOR as the story is already solid and there. but with enough space for us or you (mods) to tweak.
the other suggestion i have is to do a RP based around the Bane series and timeline, or slightly before. with the rise of the Army of Darkness and the impending war. the darkside could pick which style of force-user they want to be so inturn what planet they are trained on. and with the jedi who at the time are in a time of peace so you could be a padawan out on a random planet with just her/his master. also you have the normal troops of the republic and sith to play with. i really think this idea has good merit in my opinion. but its not just up to me smile

That's another good idea for a plot. My 501st-member-Uncle was just mentioning that a game based on the New Sith Wars would be fun as well.
So, here's what I'll do. I'm gonne come up with a thead, and fill it with all of our ideas. Then, I'll set up a vote on what scenario of an RP everyone wants to do.
Then, we'll vote on it for a few days to a week, and whichever has the most votes will be the new RP.
Sound good?

I had an idea about a plot line that could take place in any era.
The classical treasure hunt. Something of great power/knowledge/secrets has re-surfaced in the galaxy and its power/knowledge/secrets can tip the balance to one faction’s side, possible making victory/freedom/conquest possible. It’s now the job of the pc’s to acquire it before their rivals do.
This idea also allows players to make characters that work for either the good, the bad and the out for themselves sides or factions that populate the galaxy at any given time era.
