Some say yes :O Maybe I've been misdiagnosed . . . I don't use my inhaler at all. Well, I used to until I found out that I was having anxiety attacks and not asthma attacks. So maybe my breathing issues are just due to my anxiety, as it has been getting worse over the years. ._.;;

I think I am too... The doctor gave me an inhaler to use twice a day and one before P.E. =/ I don't use the P.E. one and I'm fine and (mwahaha) the other one ran out. I really don't need it and it's just creating a dependence on unneccisary drugs

it's probably as misdiagnosed, or just overdiagnosed as ADD.

I think that it is. When I was younger, my tonsils were constantly swollen. And they were clearly gigantic. But my doctor insisted it was asthma. Then a few years later, I got my tonsils removed, and haven't had breathing problems since.

See... I think so.. I have never shown signs of asthma... until I started talking to mom and dad when they smoked... and being in the car with them when they smoked... Hell, walking through the house is a good way to breathe in smoke.. I'm thinking it's related to second hand smoke xD The doctor shoved it away as asthma~ Didn't give me an inhaler.. simply a note saying no running in gym. - .-

[~+~] I know it is something you can actually outgrow. I was diagnosed with it when i was...5 or 6 i think? When i had pneumonia.
I'm 18, and still have it. Although it generally comes on during hayfever season and whenever i have a cold.
Literally, even when it's a mild one, asthma is right there. xD;

A lot of people I know who have "asthma" don't use their inhalers at all. Maybe they don't have it anymore? Or is that not possible?

Angelic iGirl A lot of people I know who have "asthma" don't use their inhalers at all. Maybe they don't have it anymore? Or is that not possible? [~+~] Yeah, it is possible. My Doctor told me a few years ago that often you can "outgrow" it.

 I've always had breathing issues, i use an inhaler, i'm not sure if i have been diagnosed with asthma, but i use an inhaler to help me breathe a little easier at times.
Even if you are not diagnosed, an inhaler is still a useful medication to use from time to time, it's main purpose to help you breathe and if your not diagnosed, you can still use it if you are feeling short of breathe and that is ok.
