Well, there is this guy who's giving away a house, and whoever gets the most votes wins, only thing is there is a $20 entry fee. It's supposed to be whoever deserves it the most gets it, but really whoever gets the most votes does. The house is in my area, so it would be nice, and not only do I need it; I feel I deserve it the most. If I entered I'm curious how many people here would vote for me? it's an essay contest, and when I get my essay prepared, I'll post it again and see what everone thinks. But until then I wanna' know, just how many people I could get to vote for me. The house my mom is in is falling apart, and she doesn't have the money to fix it, along with rent. This place is all fixed up and ready for us, and it's even in the town my mom went to school in. This is the last dream I have left that's not been totally destroyed, and this seems like the quickest way I can get it, I just need a little help from my friends. So be honest, tell me what you think, if you'd vote for me or not. it's all in the poll.

Well, sadly they've been shut down, it's a good thing that I didn't enter. Of course everyone who did is getting their money refunded, so it wouldn't matter either way. I guess the justice department said there was something illegal about it, so they closed it down and are giving everyone a refund because they didn't know it was against the law to give something like a house away. In my opinion it shouldn't be, but hey, you can't win them all. After all it is the holiday season, everything that can go wrong will, I wouldn't be surprised if the transient they found frozen to death in town was my bf's dad the way things have been going. My bf's dad is a horrible alcoholic and homeless now, we tried to help him, but he was only destroying my motorhome and pestering us everyday for a ride to the store for food and water, when we'd take him there instead of getting food he'd spend all of his money on beer. We're talking $50 and more at a time, his brother is his payee because someone hit him in the head and put him in a coma, so he can't control his finances. His brother is so exasperated because he was ruining his marriage by having his drunken brother around all of the time, so he told him to get lost... I pray to god it's not him that froze to death, I'm just sayin' it wouldn't surprise me the way things have been going. god must really hate me... cry emo
