Shanna66 Lady Nekochan Dagnabbit. I got some new pictures yesterday, and I can't find the cord to connect my camera to my computer. X_X I know where I put it, and it's not there.
Yeah, I'm not really going to go into the sand thing. As I said, I trust my brother's opinion. He'd done six months' worth of research before getting the gecko, the gecko's been on it for a year now, and Sachi gets around on the sand better than any other surface he's crawled across. He likes cloth for climbing, but his toes get caught on it sometimes. His muscle issue means he doesn't have full control over bending them, I think...I'd imagine carpet fiber would be even worse.
My borhter got him one of those mesh lizard hammocks Wednesday, because he hadn't really had anything to climb on beforehand (we didn't want him falling off, so anything climbable was a flat and low surface). He kept it fairly low and has one end down on the ground for Sachi to climb on. He's been on it a couple times and likes to soak up the extra lamp warmth from being higher up. Possible new basking spot? =D He's always used the top of his moist hide box before. ive yet to see a leo that wouldnt use those hammocks. leos also like soft places to sleep like beds. i made one of my leos a bed and purchased another one from the rodent section of the psetstore. bad part is that my big girl got twice as lazy after she discovered the bed XD Sachi is a bit of a lazy one already...he doesn't like to explore unless my brother has him out. Then, he's all for climbing shirts and observing his world from someone's knee. =D
Just realized that I've defeated the purpose of being in the pictures section.
New pics of Sachi! These are only a few days old. My brother brought him up to my room to visit.

SO CUTE! SO CUTE! =D
Okay, no....don't go out and buy one unless you're ready for the additional commitment. Just getting them for cuteness is not recommended!
My brother and I are off-hand guessing that he's a bell. We don't actually know, but the bell images seem to match his patterns the most. The trempers don't seem to have nearly as much patterning as he has. His purple spots are almost somewhere in-between traditional albino purple and chocolate albino. o.0 I dunno...he's just cute. My brother was cleaning out his terrarium over the weekend and had me "baby-sitting" Sachi, who was on a spare cloth sheet on my brother's bed. When his moist hide box got taken away to go back in the terrarium, he decided to slide himself under the screen terrarium lid (it was also on the sheet) and hide there. xd "I'm invisible!"
