The unicorn spirit smiled when she was asked about kids and families. It was still new after so long, but she thought she knew enough about it to explain. "Well," she began, holding one paw up about chest height, "my boys are about this tall, and though sometimes offspring do not look like their parents, you can certainly see Lasuk and myself in them." Sylvera continued to smile as she thought about the first time her sons hatched and the first day she met Lasuk. It was hard to believe their first meeting was a year ago. How time flies...
Though Fayt had not moved closer to Sylvera, the mother kyun could feel that Fayt was truly sorry about the loss of her parents. It was something that was touchy for her, and something that many kyunru could not remember. "Thank you for your condolences. I try not to share the story of my parents too often, but sometimes it just happens." As she shrugged, long white stands fell over her shoulders. Each strand looked as if they were made of silk, and it was obvious that it had been taken very good care of. It was something that she had inherited from her mother, and something she had passed on to her sons.
"Having a family is nice, though I have two different kinds." Getting up, Sylvera went over to a bag laying on the floor that read 'Ev,' and opened it. For a moment her head dug around in the bag until it reappeared with a photo. Fluttering back over to where she had been, she dropped it from her mouth in front of the lavender crow kyun. The photo had Sylvera laying elegantly in front of a human girl with two pretty kuns on her shoulders. "These are who I live with, and I consider a family of sorts. They were so sweet to take me in, and to take care of me when I was pregnant." It was true, too. Elizabeth and Sofia were always trying to help, and Ev brought her books to keep her busy. So, it seemed that Adriel had inherited his love of reading from his mom. "Finding and having a partner, whether male or female, and having a child or two is quite nice as well, don't get me wrong. Your children are half of you, and half of the person or persons you care for."
Carefully, she took the photo back and returned it to the bag. Thinking on it, there was only one piece of advice she could offer to the younger female that perhaps would help her in the future. "You have to be careful on who you choose, though. You should find someone, whether a friend or lover, who accepts you for who you are before you decide to reproduce. If it is someone who you may dislike the next day, or someone you argue with often, common sense is don't get too close to them if you know what I mean." Winking, she returned to where they had been, but this time she landed in one of the padded hammocks.

Fayt listened intently as Vera talked about her kids and family. Her sons sounded precious. "Do you think I could see them sometime, your family I mean?" Since Fayt had never actually seen a Kyunru fawn the thought of smaller Kyuns somewhat captivated her.
The purple Kyun watched with interest when Vera got up to dig around in a bag laying a couple feet away from her. After digging around for a minute Vera's head reappeared from the bag holding something, which she dropped at Fayt's feet. The lavender crow Kyun looked down at the picture Vera had just dropped in front of her. It was a picture of Vera with a human girl with two smaller creatures sitting on her shoulder. Vera was lucky to be surrounded by so many creatures who cared about her. Fayt was slightly jealous of this. Fayt hoped someday she could find someone that cared for her, besides Fluff that is. Fayt was extremely happy to always have the bird beside her, regardless if she showed it or not.
When Vera returned from putting the photo back where it had come from she offered a piece of advice. Fayt cocked her head to the side while she listened, much like a child would do. "But how will I know who is the right one?" Despite acting normally as if this was her area of expertise, Fayt was actually still quiet clueless on the subject. Though it's not like she would normally let anyone know this but, she trusted Vera enough.

"I am sure you'll meet Adriel eventually, though it may be harder for you to meet AntheƓ." Sitting down, she mimicked Fayt's head tilt. "AntheƓ is usually with Lasuk, I mean. You never know." A slight smile ran across her lips, and Sylvera slowly lifted her head back to the way it normally was.
Tail flicking unconsciously, she began to think. How did one know when one found the right partner? "I guess," she began, "you know when you know. Your heart just sort of...tells you so. The other treats you well, has the same values you do, but with a bit of a difference to keep things interesting." Atleast, this was how she felt about Lasuk. It was possible that he felt a different way than she did. It was possible it was different for everyone. "You just know when it feels right."
