Finally.
She was finally being allowed to go out on her own, finally being allowed to travel without an escort constantly at her side in the form of either Master Piero or Master Houkan. Even Mistress Rown took up at her side and again when the young woman had wanted to go out before, her time to herself while outside of the house limited greatly, but that had all changed so suddenly.
When she had awoken to find herself old enough in appearance and wisdom that Piero had finally voiced his approval for Pasayo to travel alone on simple errands, the young girl could hardly contain her delight and asked right away to be allowed a task so she could embrace freedom for the first time.
Here I am. Finally.
She stood out on the streets in front of her house with the door to her back, several figures peeking their faces out of curtained windows in an effort to show off their nervous expressions at Pasayo being allowed to go alone for the first time. There had been whispers about someone following her to make sure she would be safe, but those were squelched when Pasayo protested and politely asked to be granted the same grace that everyone else received.
Her task was to go the one of the local florists that resided down the street from where she lived, a very simple walk, and bring back some flowers to decorate the house before winter fully came and left behind nothing but white and gloom.

Aelia waited patiently, letting the clerk scan her purchases while she stared out the window in front of her. The weather was beginning to cool down into Autumn and a few leaves were mingled in with the trash blowing across the ground, buffeted by the winds of traffic and the kick of human feet. It was mid Saturday morning, the flow of traffic beginning to decrease as the horde of beach go-ers and late night partiers reached their destinations.
Inside the shop smelt like incense and smoke, odd trinkets of 'new age fandangled stuff' which Shyer sometimes sneaked in to look at gleamed dream like on glass shelves with large 'do not touch' signs blue-tacked to the more expensive items. Aelia had stopped by to pick up some incense for Shyer, grabbing about five different type and a new incense holder, this one was made of wood and had a cheeky pixie smiling up at you. Irony she had thought while picking it up to shove it in her bag as she handed over the cash.
Errand accomplished she exited the store, leaving the teen Ashe with much time on her hands and little to do. Shyer had slipped her an extra $20 to do with what she wished but Aelia knew not what to purchase. Unlike girls who appeared er own age she put little value on materials.
Utside the shop no one looked at her oddly or glanced up as they had when she was younger, her glamours had become almost their own moving masterpieces and today she looked like a short haired teen with brown airs and a tanned complexion, her wings invisible to any mortal. Shyer had been very impressed with this ability but Aelia was fairly certain it had come at the cost of her skill to sense other ashe, something which had disappeared a few months ago.
She sighed, walking along the street at a brisk pace without stopping, slowing only as she caught a whiff of a floral scent from somewhere. She bit her lip in thought before turning down towards the scent, She needed something for her normally bare room.

It should be noted that Pasayo did not know how to use a glamour, her contact with others who knew how to do such a thing a very limited experience. She mostly spent her quiet days at home with Dusk or Sol as her company, rarely traveling out unless it was dark outside to begin with or she was fully covered to protect herself from the weather. Yet she stood now, her natural appearance exposed to the world, and several people walked past her without even lifting their heads. She was a common sight among the folks of this area, having always been out as a child with Piero or Houkan, and therefore she no longer posed as much interest to them as her first few appearances.
Now, as someone older, she stood out even more because there was even more of her to be shown. She would need to use a glamour if she ever wished to travel outside of this small area of her own little world, but where could should learn something like that...?
Slowly her footsteps started to carry her towards her original destination - the florist, and over and over in her mind she rehearsed the simple convertsation she would have with whomever was on duty that at the time. She only wanted some day lilies, preferably purple if they had them, but maybe she should get something else . . .

The bell tinkled merrily above the door, cold air mingling with the warmer air on the street as the smell of hundreds of flowers hit Aelia with an almost physical blow. She breathed in the scents and the cool, smiling as she exhaled. Florists always smelt wonderful, they did stock flowers after all, and this one was no different. A young woman in her mid twenties looked up, her name tag said Wendy, she smiled before asking if there was something her new possible customer was looking for. Aelia shrugged and murmured something about just browsing and finding what she was looking for herself. Wendy smiled again, told her she was there if needed and went back to whatever entertaining amusement of business she was attending to.
It was quite bar for the soft hum of the air conditioner and the occasional scuffling of feet from somewhere around the back, perhaps where even more flowers were stored and being placed. It's the smell of time stopping..' Aelia thought to herself, strolling past the boxes of lilies and wildflowers. 'Everything is so...purposefully controlled so as to stop these flowers in their prime, stop them changing with time.' She imagined that were she to come in next week, next year, maybe next decade, they lady would still be there, offering the same help with the same, if slightly more aged smile. The flowers might have been rearranged and changed over but it would look, feel, smell and in general be the same as it was today.
It was an odd thought to have in a flower shop she figured and let it drop. She looked down at a bouquet of colourful gerberas and red roses. It was a really lovely floral arrangement actually, the roses added a theme to the vivid colours of the gerberas which would have otherwise been a clash of eye sore colors. She stroked one of the petals of the orange gerberas. "Please don't touch the flowers." Wendy's voice rang out. "They'll wilt faster." Aelia smiled, even humans and people were apparently obstacles which this would be time holder was trying to overcome.

Once more the doorbell tingled as another figure came in, this one standing out far more than the young woman who had just entered, and the lady named Wendy gasped for a moment before she quickly turned her gaze down to her desk.
Pasayo's face faltered a slight bit though she remained smiling, a polite bow of her head acting as a greeting instead of a verbal sound. She folded her hands in front of her as she made her way towards an area she knew to be familiar, as she had been here once before as a child, and soon her eyes were taking in the different colors of day lilies. Today they seemed to have a pale pink and pale blue kind, and she slowly moved from display to display as she scanned for any shade of purple.
"Hmm....perhaps I should settle for the colors they have instead of going for want . . ."
She had not noticed the other girl in the store, her mind focused, so she went about her way.

The bell hanging above the door jingled merrily, announcing the arrival of someone new within the shop. The sound was mere formalities really, if one couldn't guess that the door had opened and someone had entered by the hotter air that blew in from outside, you obviously didn't pay much attention to the world around you. The hot air receded as the door closed and the cool of the florist settled back in.
At first Aelia gave no notice to the new person, but her interest became aroused when she heard the lady gasp, what some odd looking biker coming to get flowers for his...she looked at the newcomer out the corner of her eye to appraise whatever appearance would cause such alarm. Unfortunately it only drew the same gasp reaction from her, though it didn't stop at just a gasp.
This girl, passing as whatever she was however she was, was very obviously NOT human. In fact to Aelia this girl was very obviously an Ashe. An unglamoured Ashe in a florist completely visible to all around her. Aelia had never heard or seen such a thing and it boggled her mind and stumped it so much that she'd stopped walking around to look at the flowers and simply stare.
It occurred to her that she would be better off getting to know another of her...species? But this was...well, going to be an odd meeting, and they hadn't even introduced themselves.

"Oh...what a delicate shade of purple. Almost like you have been faded this way by time instead of by design."
Pasayo had stopped in front of a rather pale purple flower, her dark fingers reaching over to gently touch the petals before her train of thought was interrupted by another gasp. Slowly a small frown graced her delicate features but it was quickly masked with a polite smile and a bob of her head in whatever direction the gasp had come from.
It seemed today that more people were shocked by her and it was making her feel a little uneasy, but not as much as she had been when she would go out with Rown - let alone as uneasy as the first time she had awoken to find herself in this body.
"I am sorry if I am disturbing anyone in here. . ."
