I agree about the pink fluffs being good. I got four rings in less then an hour orb farming once. I was with a crew so I dont know if it would have been as good if I was alone. Does your "g" level matter as to the amount of drops you will get? Does a higher level mean better drops? Just wondering.

If you need to kill the cherry fluffs I suggest using fire rain to kill them, it generally explodes them instantly...

I just kept doing dead mans pass Omgwtf quest to get orbs until I got strong enough to go to zen gardens. I will probably keep trying to kill Katsumi's doll for more orbs now.

I'd parrot the Kokeshi and Lanterns suggestions, and also Dead Man's Pass. Once you get to Bass'Ken the wolves aren't too bad for orbs, but the Saws seem to be a big favorite.
If you can manage it, throw on a fitness ring for the luck boost. Another option is to crew with an Angel if you can find one, or get the Angel set yourself. If you have both your damage will be pretty awful, but your orb drops will be moderate at the worst.

Well, I find that I can only get orbs from certain level monsters. I used to be able to fight three cannons and two gnomes (one screen below Remo) and get an orb out of it every five minutes. But now that I've leveled up a bit, I can't get orbs from them anymore. But the Zen Garden fluffs each take more than half of my life points before giving me an orb, and I have yet to get one from a kokeshi doll. Never got one at Bill's ranch, ever. Got a couple at Dead Man's Pass. I have yet to get beyond that, though.

and if you're really bored you can always do Larry and Klaus' quest a billion times.. although I really don't think it's worth it ._. it is a waste of time when you have nothing better to do though

Psychedelic Green and if you're really bored you can always do Larry and Klaus' quest a billion times.. although I really don't think it's worth it ._. How the hell is that possible? You can only do one quest one time. Unless you mean crewing with someone else to help them complete the quest?

If you get REALLY bored, you could go for a game of Goof. XD You get a couple orbs for just finishing the course. Of course, if you aren't that good at it, it's a waste of time, but it's worth a shot, eh? =P
