Which ring do you think is better?
Shark is stronger but it doesn't have as far of a range and there's a delay before it actually attacks. I'm leaning towards Solar rays but I'm not sure which is actually better.
Opinions?
edit: Or Shuriken? It does about the same damage as Solar Rays but other than that I don't really know about this ring.

Well I havnt experienced shark or shurikan yet but id go with shark. I have solar rays and its not exactly the best ring. And are you buying the rings or getting them? Because if so you get to choose shark at some point and solar rays is only like 4k and you get to choose it 2 times I think maybe 3

I actually have all 3. I picked Solar Rays when we got to restart again, I just picked Shark when I finished the Ninja's (Kin?) quest chain, and a drum dropped Shuriken.
No, solar rays isn't the best ring, but for ranged attacks what is?

Somehow had 5 after killing them for a while. Never even told me I got them. O-o

Personally I'd go with shark. It's stronger and though there is a delayed reaction, time wise the solar ring would take so many hits to kill that i'm sure you wouldn't mind the shark attack song and moving fin. And if you ever change your mind, sell it and get the solar ring along with an extra profit~
P.S. 'Jaws' was a classic =P

I prefer solar rays for a couple reasons...
1.it's faster
2.it's a starter ring, therefor you can have it earlier in the game.
3.it may be weaker, but you can follow it up with a lesser ranged ring quickly afterword, like hack for example.

i prefer the shark for its damage, by lvl 3 you can do 64 dmg but that delay kills you. again solar ray is faster, but deals less dmg. so it is up to your own prefrence

Why not both. I like to double fire by charging a small solar ray then fire off a mid range attack as they get closer, then when they are right on top of me my huge melee attack.
for example.
Solar Ray -> Shark -> hack/slash

I agree with tsukasa... I'd use both.
I love my Solar Rays ring, since I'm more of a long-range quick-attack person. But the power of Shark combined with its range is indispensable. I also like to have Dervish/Bump for closer range, but sometimes I change that out for Scaredy Cat, just 'cause it's hilarious. ^w^
