Leila Amra Drake You did not miss anything. They did not stick to canon of Star Trek there. I stopped watching it after some episodes since I considered the series not worth watching.
... and I'm a big Star Trek fan... smile
My favourite is Voyager but TNG and TOS are cool, too. They've all got their own charm. Yeah I heard Enterprise sucked anyway.

Enterprise was cool for the first few episodes.....
I love all the series but my all time favorite is Voyager whee

Enterprise killed the timeline in the very first episode....
My favorite is DS9. It just covers so mugh more than the rest of them. I couldn't list all of the issues...

DS9 was my fav series though i couldn't tell you who was the better captain picard or sisko. i am very fond of tng as well. but personally i think DS9 would have made it even if worf hadn't joined, though it's kinda nice that he did.
i think most of all i like DS9 for the story telling and plot. one of my favorite episodes was "in the pale moonlight" where sisko is trying to justify bringing the romulans into the dominion war. there was alot of great plot in that particular episode though they were all good.
i enjoyed the ship battles which i don't think would have happened as well with a galaxy class starship.

I'd have to say TOS. TNG and DS9 were good, but TOS will always have it's original charm. Sure, the graphics weren't great, and the acting....Well some of it could've been improved, but it was and always will be my favourite.That, and for some odd reason, I can relate to Spock on some level. XD

I`ll have to say the original series. It was simply fascinating!!
The start of a wonderfull universe...and it doesnt matter if the special effects were not as good as today`s; it was everthing about the series...the way the characters interacted with eachother, the adventures they faced...it was so thrilling!!!
Not saying the most recent ones arent good (of course Picard for example is a good character too) but still the original is the best in my opinion. ^^
Kirk, Spock and McCoy are a great team.
