About 10 years ago my biologic father got me listening to LP. But I think the modern parent have alot to worry about when it comes to music...Music sets trends and 9 times out of 10 they are not good....Hip-hop promotes shooting your b***h up and that if you were blue in ma hood you get slashed. Punk is like F you democracy and bring anarchy..Some music has been known to encouraged mindless people to self-harm..

I think parents have a problem with LP because with about over half of their songs the lead singer 'chaz' just screams and they don't realise that unlike all of the over bands that are in the same genre as them, they are actually trying to send a message across to their fans. one example of this is imbedded into 'Hands Held High' where Mike Shinoda says 'when the rich wage war/ its the poor who die' which tells us that LP are trying to send us a message about the wars going on today being really pointless nd just causes more devastation than good.
