Margem follows Star's lead and looks around the room.
"It doesn't look like it..." she says, sliding down the wall so that she can sit on the floor, "The other one would just lead us to the sideways room and there wasn't a third door in that room. We'd never be able to get back to the door that brought us to the sideways room...."

"Yikes. So either we find some way to open this door or we're stuck. Perhaps if we tried together we could open it?"

Margem nods. She gathers her strength and goes back to the door. She lays her hand on the doorknob and waits for Star to join her, so that they can try opening up the door.
"On your count, whenever you're ready, we'll pull," says the redhead.

Star grabs onto the door along with Margem.
"Okay. On the count of three," she says. "1... 2... 3!" At 3 she pulls with all her might, only to find that he door swings open easily causing her to fly back and land on her butt.
"WHAT?" she cries. "All that work and NOW it opens all nice and easy? Stupid door."

Margem pulls on the door with Star and, when the door swings open easily, finds herself on her back by Star. gonk
"Owww....." she cries but before she can say much else, she finds that she is floating in a room. There is no door, no wall and no ceiling, by what she can see. The pain in her back is also gone.
The lights have dimmed and the temperature has gone down. However, there is breathable air/oxygen in the room. That's the upside of it.
The lights keep dimming and soon Margem cannot see further than three feet in front of her extended arms.
"Star....? What's going on....? How'd we get ourselves into this mess?"

"That is a really good question," Star replies. "Maybe we're really cats and curiosity finally got us?" She twirls in place, enjoying the lack of gravity. "On the up side, I always kinda wondered what it would be like to be an astronaut," she says.

Margem lifts her arm up to her face and starts licking it. She stops, realizing what she is doing, and has a shocked look on her face. eek
The light dances between faded and all-the-way-on. She looks up to Star and, seeing that Star now has a tail, tries to tell her something. "Mrow!" is the only thing comes out of her mouth.
She covers her mouth with.... her... paws!
'What the heck?!' thinks Margem as she realizes that she is a cat.
"Mrow!!"
