me and my limited vocabulary are putting together a list of japanese
words! if you know any words and their english meanings please PM me them.

these are words from my old japanese book from school and im not sure if they're all correct.

Actually, I think "kasa" means umbrella, not hat. Hat is "booshi" or boushi. Same thing.

I'm just curious, what book did you learn from in school. Genki volumes?

Although this is breaking no rules I can think of, I'm locking this on three principles:

1. Learning through Romaji means you almost certainly learn it wrong.

2. You'd be better off learning through Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji.

3. There are a ton of resources on the Learning Japanese subforum that make threads like this moot.

In short: please check around the guild the next time you decide to make something like this.
