"These plushies are cute!" Kururu said excitedly, rummaging through the boxes that Dark and Amy had pushed in the back, readying them for the orders from Halloween.

"Black cats, zombies, and this green thing..." The pixie's voice grew more and more muffled as she continued down into the box, poking her nose where it wasn't really supposed to be. So, basically the usual. Cornet, watching on from the doorway, looked around somewhat anxiously.

"Are you sure we're supposed to be here?" she asked, still looking over her shoulder for Dark or Amy. "I mean, Amy's letting us stay at her house, but she didn't say anything about coming in and out of the shop."

"We're in and out of here all the time," Kururu said from the bottom of toe box. "And its not like we're taking anything. We're just looking." Sighing in resignation, Cornet pushed herself off the doorframe and farther into the room, looking around. Though it looked almost as if it had been designed for a different shop, she felt comfortable at Wandering Moons. Having been out on her own adventure, she hadn't realized until much to late that the Chandra were in such danger. Not danger from something they could fight back against, but in danger from extinction.

Shaking her head, she looked around the shop, the embodiment of their revival. Not that you could tell, with the mess Kururu was making. While looking on as her companion wreaked havoc, she heard a muffled voice that didn't belong to the pixie.

"Did you hear that?" Cornet asked suddenly.

"Mph?" She shook her head. Probably not. Leaning down, she listened closely, hoping that she wasn't going insane.

"Hello?" It was a soft voice, and very meek, as if whoever was speaking not only didn't know if someone would hear it or if they would care if they did. Surprised by where it had come from, the chandra began going through the pile of plushies that Kururu had discarded, setting them gently aside. Finally, she came to the one at the bottom, one that must have been set aside long before Kururu got to it.

"Can you hear me?" it asked softly, its one good eye looking at her sadly.

"Yes," Cornet said kindly, gathering the poor broken doll in her arms. Poking her head out of the box, Kururu looked as well.

"I haven't talked to anyone before," the plush admitted sheepishly. Cornet decided that the poor little guy had probably never even seen more than a passing glimpse of someone before, he was in such bad condition. Nearly all of his seams were split, with stuffing coming out at every side.

"I haven't talked to one of the plushies before, either," Cornet said with a smile.

"It's nice to meet you," the plushie said. As with all of the dolls and puppets Cornet could speak with, save Kururu, the toy chandra displayed no emotion, other than the sad state of him and the sound of his voice.

"I'll bet if we fixed you up a little, you'd meet lots of new friends," Kururu piped up. "We could do that, right Cornet?"

"Yeah," she said, brightening up a little. She could do something useful while she was here. For a few moments, she and the plush chatted while Kururu hunted down all of the supplies she would need. Turned out the poor little guy was lonely down in the bottom of the box.

"Sorry, Cornet," she heard from behind her as Kururu fluttered back. "This was all I could find." She'd gotten the needle and thread, but instead of more soft fabric like the plushie's fur, she had only been able to find small swatches of suede and a couple of leather bands.

"We'll just have to make do. This'll just take a second, ok?" True to her word, she tried not to take too long, re-assembling the plush while he waited patiently. Once she was done, she settled back on her heels, studying him curiously.

"How do I look?"

"Familiar," she said, tapping her chin.

After that, Cornet and Kururu couldn't help but put their heads together. After all, the little plush clearly wanted a good home, and Blank definitely needed a hand in his new relationship. They could take the situation into their hands and help them both.

"Tell me why I'm taking this again?"

"Its cute!" Kururu chirped. "It looks just like you!" Blank dubiously studied the plushie that Cornet was holding out to him. They'd practically pounced on him when they'd found him on his way to Amy's house. Though he'd missed half of the explanation as one tried to talk over the other, he'd managed to get that he should take the plushie that was an eerie likeness of him.

"Yeah," he agreed, "and its kinda weird."

"Were you listening?" Cornet demanded. "You're not supposed to keep it. That would be weird."

"Then what am I supposed to do with it?"

"Give it to Dontaine!" Kururu chirped. Blank looked down at the toy, which looked back at him (at least in a manner of speaking). He still thought it was strange to give a likeness of himself to what he supposed was his significant other, but Cornet and Kururu had been very sure of himself. She'd been right before, even though she was usually a thorn in everyone's side.

And that was how he found himself at the manor, holding an oddly shaped box and waiting for someone to open the door the same way someone waits for the executioner. He sighed heavily. Women got men into all sorts of trouble.

Dontaine had been restless at the manor after Blank left as was usual for him. There was only so much one could do indoors he found and here at the manor it usually pertained to helping Dark straighten things out about the grounds and shop.

Today though he couldn't keep himself inside feeling overly antsy to say the least. So he had headed down to the beach for a while but even that didn't seem to satisfy him. Not for very long at least. So he went back up to the manor and had changed his clothes back into his usual attire of blacks and purples.

He was just about to open the door to head out and see if he could find Blank at Amy's when there was a knock at the manor door. Opening it he spotted the familiar face of the one he couldn't help but adore and automatically he smiled so brightly that his entire face seemed to light up, as it usually did when the two of them weren't in others company.

"Blank!" he exclaimed in a bit of surprise not quite having all of his excitement out of his voice. "I was just about to go see if you were at Amy's," he said much more regularly now. Noticing the box out of his peripheral vision he looked down, "ouu what do you got there? Amy sending something over for the shop?" He inquired curiously, not having the faintest clue that it could be something for him.

Though his first instinct was to tell Dontaine that he'd been waylayed by the gruesome twosome before he could head to Amy's house, he'd put that off for when/if Dontaine didn't like their his gift.

"Haven't been out there yet today," he said nonchalantly, with a slight shrug of his shoulders, "so Amy hasn't used me as a delivery guy yet." He paused, looking down at the box. Not entirely sure if he should say something else, he simply held the box out for Dontaine.

"This is for you," he said without preamble, trying to present it confidently even if he felt like an idiot.

"Really?" Dotaine asked curiously and almost in awe as he took the box from Blank and looked down at it for a moment. He fidgeted slightly wondering if there was some sort of special occasion that he was totally clueless about. As far as he could think of there wasn't anything in particular that he was forgetting or at least he hoped because he would feel like a big idiot if he forgot some special date and hadn't gotten Blank anything in return.

"Thanks," he said still looking at the box for a moment before looking up at Blank with a smile. "Want to come in? Though you just left not that long ago so maybe you'd rather sit outside?" He said rambling slightly glancing down at the box again now anxious to open his gift.

Well, at least he seemed pleased to have gotten a gift, if somewhat surprised. He did notice how Dontaine kept glancing at the box; Blank hoped that he wasn't early or late for something--he didn't think Dontaine would get upset about something like that, but you never knew. He'd have to pay more attention next time.

"Outside is fine," Blank said, taking a moment to look up at the sky. "It's a pretty day."

"Alright," Dontaine said stepping outside and shutting the door behind him with the box still clutched in his hand. He then went and sat on the top stair of the porch and patted the seat next to him for Blank to come join him.

"I should open this huh?" He said slightly teasingly. But before Blank even answered Dontaine was opening the box dying to know what was inside. He soon reached in and pulled out the little ploosh that looked like Blank and let out a girlishly type squeal. He then cuddled the ploosh tightly and looked over at Blank his eyes sparkling brightly. "I LOVE him. He's PUUURRRRFECT!!!" Dontaine practically purred at Blank still clutching the precious plush.

Smiling as if he knew that was what would happen all along, Blank said that he was glad Dontaine had liked it. Honestly, he was pretty surprised, but then, if it had been Dontaine, it would be just as nice to know that he'd been thought of.

"I was just thinking of you," he said, settling down next to Dontaine, nudging him gently with his shoulder.

Dontaine smiled brightly and nudged Blank back, "well its perfect, and I love it, and will keep it with me always, even more so when your not around because then I'll always have a reminder of you." He said and laughed in an almost giggle like way, he then leaned over and gave Blank a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you," he said again and cuddled the ploosh once more before sticking it under his hat for safe keeping. Then before Blank could protest he through his arms around Blank much preferring to cuddle the real thing when in range.
