That the movie will suck so bad they won't make New Moon?The same happened to the Eragon movie which is why they haven't made the second one.
Anyone think of this?

That might happen, but I'm really hoping the movie will be good so that they'll make the whole series. >3<

I watched Golden Compass a few weeks ago and it was just plain horrible but the book was amazing!! I'm glad i read the book before cuz if i hadn't i probably wouldn't have read it at all and i seriously hope they don't make the sequel to that into a movie. So that made me think, "Wut if the same thing happens to Twilight!!!!"
Sooooooo I'm kinda scared to watch it now, but I really sorta believe it'll be accurate and i heard somewhere they added an extra scene with a field trip or something, I hope that doesn't throw the whole movie off course.

Check out www.imdb.com , and search for "New Moon". It's already pre-production. It might not have any info, but it's in the same state Twilight was in a year ago, so it's probably gonna happen the same way.

I just don't see the movie as being such a massive failure. And until I see it, I prefer not to think of it that way.
To be honest, so many people will see it out of the fandom that the first will be a success, there's no question. There will also be new people who see the movie and then read the book or get into the series. Those people will be less turned off by any small differences between page and screen - since they haven't read - so they will look forward to the next one.
Rob would have to die or something for them not to do New Moon; in my opinion.

I read somewhere that they are waiting to see how Twilight does before they film New Moon.

well it DID do great in sales i thought it was ok but not amazing like the book, on stephies page they said they are going to do new moon i heard some where that new moon and eclipce will be conbined but i dont know if thats true

Anyone think of this? that was so understandable the eragon movie sucked it was SO aweful i get mad everytime i watch it its like nothing like the book by just reading the movie summerys you could tell it at least tried to stick to the book

I could see New Moon and Eclipse being combined, but they would have to consolidate even more than they did in Twilight, and it would still make for a very long movie. Did you notice how a lot of the more boring parts where Bella was cooking, ect. were glassed over with more plot? They added a lot more action-y parts that weren't in the book, and I kind of appreciated it, actually. I don't think the creators of the movie thought the general audience had the patience to watch all that.
But I really hope they just make one movie at a time and just imitate what they did in Twilight for the filler parts.

I have to say that I really wasn't impressed with the movie. The cast was so-so and it was rushed.
The worst was the character of 'Bella.' It was terrible that I didn't believe her at all. Roselie was nicer than Edward which I found surprising. She could have been a bit more mean, I mean she really didn't do anything that really showed Roselie's resentment towards Bella. Also, I couldn't believe that they were truly "in love" because their interaction with each other was one I believe to have been irritation instead of attraction. It was rushed so much that there really was no in between. They fought and went into loving each other so much that they were willing to die for each other in the next scene. There was no time to get to know the characters and their feelings. I think that was the biggest disappointment.
On the plus side, I can say that some parts were indeed funny. The play on words were funny, but there were some statements that could only be understood if you have read the book.
Well, I was bored so there is my short review. Agree/disagree, this was just my opinion...

ive been thinkin of it, if it sucks ima gonna be mad, cause krazze weirdo was rite, the dude who's the new director is the golden compass director and that movie did suck! there'[s probably goona be a big angry mob outside his house if the movie sucks, i would love to see him get trampled by all the fans! sweatdrop

I just hope they capture Bella's constant agony in New Moon. Instead of completely focusing on her new dependency on Jacob. But I'm looking forward to it all the same =D
