IIDX GOOOOLD Voloscia i have the trinket from last boss in heroic bot yet i apparently haven't cleared heroic bot?! gonk grrrr Heroic Botanica does not drop a trinket that only drops in heroic. You will find yourself with the Botanica normal achievement, though. Achievements go by what items you have from bosses and what quests you have completed. If you've competed the Vials of Eternity quest but do not have any Vashj/Kael loot you will get credit for Vashj/Kael. If you do not have any loot from Kil'jaeden, but have killed Kil'jaeden previous to this patch, you will not have a Kil'jaeden achievement, since there are no quests linking to KJ, only loot. There is no way for Blizzard to possibly track everyone's boss kills ever. There's still some issues I believe with Stratholme achievements, but for the most part everything works. People just aren't understanding the achievement system fully and how it works from a technical standpoint. and i have loot from heroic bota and it does not show, so there are more issues with the whole achievement system, which is normal with something just implemented

[ Maxxyne ] Voloscia On a side note... the new patch is soooooo hilarious... haha clearing BT in like 3 hours is win xd If by 3, you mean 2. And Kara in about 90 minutes. *Giggle* We had a bunch of our geared people who want to get some more gems for their gear so we ran a quick Kara and ZA run. We did everything in a little over two hours, even with switching out people's toons for Kara. We made the timer with about 10mins to spare. And ohshit, seeing nearly 1k dps without trying on my priest is made of awesome. Seeing 1.6k is fun.

If quests give credit, then how come i don't have credit for doing heroic shat halls after completing the quest in there to rescue the girl from hh before the timer runs out?

The achievement system was just introduced, there were still quite a few things wrong with it on beta. eye of sulfuras doesn't give you credit for ragnaros, chestpieces from c'thun don't give credit for c'thun, etc. If it bothers you that much run the heroic again.

You have a blessed medallion of karabor razz I've gone back and explored almost every region, done every dungeon, and visited every inn(hallows end achievement), and i'm still only up to 1800 achievement points sad

this is dumb but I was really relieved when I saw that it credited a bunch of world event stuff I did. Seriously who the ******** would wanna talk to all the lunar festival elders again, and mess with the alliance fires in midsummer?!
There's definitely something wrong with the Strat & Scholo, because I have loot (yeah I'm a packrat) and I have done all the quests there but had no credit.
At least they gave us something to DO while we're waiting for the xpac. Though I have to say, making me do MC again for a freaking achievement is cruel and unusual punishment.

Miss-Mishi this is dumb but I was really relieved when I saw that it credited a bunch of world event stuff I did. Seriously who the ******** would wanna talk to all the lunar festival elders again, and mess with the alliance fires in midsummer?! At least they gave us something to DO while we're waiting for the xpac. Though I have to say, making me do MC again for a freaking achievement is cruel and unusual punishment. Very true. I spent hours running all over the world to talk to all the people and ruin the horde's celebration of Midsummer. At least now I have one holiday I can relax on. I'm still waiting for my toothpick! And I've noticed the one for doing the same daily five days in a row resets at three. Same with a lot of my guildies. Represent also resets daily too (maybe because I wear the tabard all the time?).

A Mask for All Occasions is being removed from the meta achievement for Hallowed Be Thy Name.
Also, ******** RNG I'm waiting on my pet still. After two years. Ran it every day (at level ******** 63-70, too - I wasn't 70 at halloween last year on my priest) last year, done it 10 times a day this year and I have still never seen it drop. Atleast I know I can get it from the daily quest to put out fires and trick or treating.. got the helm from the daily quest thing today.

Yesterday they added that the squashling and hallowed helm can drop from trick or treating. Half my guild's got one or the other now... I haven't seen either drop in over 50 attempts at HH between this and last year and my constant trick or treating whenever I'm on. gonk
I've also not been credited on any of my toons for Ramparts or Blood furnace. *sigh* Sure it's easy enough to rerun these instances... but when you've got 5 70s it's just a pain in the butt. Plus if you don't need anything from say Arcatraz and you're fully Sha'tar exalted you REALLY don't want to go back and redo regular arc...
I've just noticed today that my Sun Eater didn't count towards heroic mech =(

I've done about 40-50 runs since the event started.
I've seen the blue helmet 7-8 times, the epic helmet 3 times, the sword twice, the pet twice, and the mount not at all yet.
Only thing I've won is a sword. However, I did get the blue helmet today from trick or treating, as well as two of my other characters getting it, and two of my characters got the pet that way, one of them just being a level 1 alt I made to trick or treat more. ~_~

I just got the helm yesterday as well.
Which for us lowbies is nicer, since we can't really kill HH yet.
It gives us a chance to get it, but we still don't have a chance at the broom yet.
