It was times like these Karoko remembered how slow she was. Especially taking into account she was such a coward, if she ever had to run for her life, she'd be in trouble. Maybe when she was older she would fly fast to make up for it, or so her cousin had suggested.
When they reached the proper place, Karoko at first looked surprised. Her eyes moved to the animal, to Eva, to the animal, to Eva again. They didn't look so much alike to her. But then, she didn't look much like a bat either aside from the ears and wings...

The runt was probably a hard specimen to keep up with- he's pretty quick on his feet, after all. He never let himself get too far ahead though, and would often stop or slow down so that she could catch up, smiling some. He was excited to see some tree 'roos, even though they weren't the same as him. They were supposed to be pretty close.
Eva stared up into the exhibit, ears fully perked. Wow... So that's what he was... He decided the coloring couldn't be right, 'cause he didn't have no colors that looked like that. They were much more brighter than his ears and his tail was kinda stripey. He then looked towards the girl cheerily, kind of proud for some reason to be showing her what he was.

"Not as cute as Eva," Karoko determined with a nod. They were cute, though. But Eva had prettier colors than they did. She could tell they weren't the exact kind of kangaroo he was, but that was alright. They hadn't had the exact kind of bat she was either. Maybe some zoo somewhere had both?
She frowned thoughtfully when Noyama announced it was time to go and grabbed her hand. Karoko had never be one to argue, or even protest, but she still looked highly dissapointed. "Okay," she agreed flatly, waving with one hand to her friend. "I'll see you laterrrr, Eva."

The boy just grinned at that, ears wriggling about.. He was actually thinking something along the lines of how he hoped somewhere there was a zoo with both of their animals in it so that they could look at 'em at the same time... He was torn from his thoughts as Noyama spoke up, and he looked towards the two curiously before frowning.
The little guy drooped a bit, depressed by the idea of his friend leaving, but he managed a small smile and a wave. And then a nod. He hoped he got to see his friend again.. He climbed back up into Freize's arms.
