Sofiel searched each tree for the runaway Pan'lun. 'I just can't find him. He couldn't have gotten away.' She frowned, lowering herself down to the ground. "Maybe Ace can help me. Or the monkey"
Just as Sofiel said that the little monkey went running out from the doorway, with Ace at it's heals. "Sofiel!" Ace exclaimed, running for his master. "That Pan'lun, it's afraid of you because you're a girl. We should just leave it alone." Ace would have told Sofiel the whole story, but he felt as though she wouldn't have listened to it at this time. She was still determined to find him, even though she knew that he was scared of her? "I don't care if he's scared of me. It doesn't give him the right to leave a friend behind! What if we were hostile! That monkey wouldn't have stood a chance against us!" Sofiel turned to the monkey and spoke softly "Will you please help us find your master? I just want to have a quick word with him,"

Valin nodded rapidly at the question before hopping backwards a few feet and pointing straight up with a smug expression on his cute face. Near the canopy, Toshihiro's constrictor-like pattern could be seen clearly against the bright red wood of the trunk. The heavy leaves had hidden quite well from a birds-eye view, much like from where Sofiel had been looking a few seconds before.
Toshihiro could not believe his eyes, Valin had betrayed him!
Hissing in irritation, Toshi started thinking of ways to escape and torment the monkey later on. Maybe he could-
CRACK!
"?"
A loud creak, along with a few snapping and popping sounds caused Toshihiro to panic more when he felt himself falling backwards with a portion of a tree branch clutched in his claws. Yelling, he fell for a few seconds before landing on the ground with a loud crash and a spray of wood chunks and leaves.
"................Ow...." Poor Toshi had been leaning backand had taken the top portion of the tree with him. Now he was achy and sore and tangled up in the wood and leaf mess.

Sofiel looked up to where the monkey pointed, and raised a slender eye brow. Sure enough, there was the Pan'lun that she had been searching for. He had a slightly betrayed look on his face, and she could tell that he might have been somewhat upset with the monkey. Suddenly, a loud crack echo'd across the forest.
Sofiel gasped, seeing the large Pan'lun go plummeting to the ground from such a high place. She left Ace's side, much to his dismay, to go check on the other Painter to make sure that he was ok. "Are you ok, sir?" She crouched down by his side, forgetting that he was fearful of females. She took one of his hands into her own and started giving him a once-over, to make sure that he was still all in one piece. Every thing seemed to be fine with him, besides the few scratches that decorated his Boa-like skin. She blushed when she realized that he was still entangled in the fallen branches and twigs that he had taken down with him. "Let's get you out of there, come on." Sofiel tugged gently on his arm, still aware that he'd be in some pain.

Toshihiro was in a state of complete dazeness and confusion, therefore he barely registered the fact that Sofiel had grabbed his forepaw and was talking to him. Mumbling slightly, the light tug and feeling of something heavy falling off of his back started to bring the young male back to the world of the living...
He just wasn't quite there yet.....
Staring at the glazed and half-lidded eyes of his best friend, Valin flicked his striped tail and pondered something that would wake him up in a flash.
Thinking....
Thinking....
"!!!"
Eyes brightened when a particular idea crept into his mind. Dashing over to Sofiel, he bounced up and down while making kissing motions and pointing at Toshihiro. When in doubt, try doing the "Sleeping Beauty" theme, neh?

Sofiel understood the excited monkey immediately. "Ewww," She whispered, looking back and forth between the monkey and it's owner. Sofiel had never kissed a Pan'lun before. Well, besides her family, but they didn't count. She leered at the male and his dazed expression. "Are you sure that it'll work?" Sofiel questioned the monkey, hardly surprised when it started to shake it's head. "Fine then," Sofiel leaned in near to the Pan'lun and paused inches from his lips. Staring into his bright yellow eyes, Sofiel leaned in those last few inches and pressed her lips against his. Sofiel almost pulled away when she felt a spark run up her spine when they made contact. Her eyes fluttered close. Hearing a distant throat noise, Sofiel pulled away, her eyes wide open looking back at a angsty Ace. The monkey looked as though it were about to wet itself with excitement, and the male-
Sofiel looked back at the male Pan'lun.
Ace gawked at his master, watching as she kissed the older male. His jaw literally dropped, and he had to hold back a growl in his throat. The kiss lasted a few seconds before Ace became impatient, and cleared his throat.

Toshihiro stirred as Sofiels' lips touched him, forcing him back into the waking world. For a moment, he didn't really comprehend on what she had done...that is, until he noticed how close she was...
How Valin looked ready to burst out laughing...
And how Ace wanted to kill someone right then in there.
That's when reality smacked him straight in the face; he yelled in surprise and bolted backwards from the teenage dragon, eyes wide in surprise and fear. He couldn't deny the fact that...well, the kiss had brought a nice feeling...
But still! He swallowed and attempted to glare at her. "W-what the heck was that for?!"

Sofiel had to resist the strong temptation to roll her eyes at the startled male. Why was he so freaked that she kissed him? He was older then her!
She should the the one throwing the hissy fit, not him. Her eyes glanced over to Ace quickly, and she had to bite down on her tongue to stop the barking laugh that would have erupted from her mouth. Ace looked furious, and Sofiel had no doubt in her mind that she'd be receiving a good and thorough talking to after this was all settled. Distracting herself from Ace, Sofiel looked back to the Pan'lun. She felt a smirk tug at one corner of her mouth, and couldn't help but to chuckle softly. She stepped closer to him and ducked down to look him in the eyes, ignoring the hint of fear the was present there. She could tell that his glare was half-hearted, and that he probably wouldn't have enough backbone to fend her off, if she tried anything. She decided to play along with what the monkey had started. "Someone had to snap you out of the mindless daze that you had fallen into. And what way would have been better then a kiss?" She reached forward slowly, as to not startle him further, to trace his jawline. "It's not like neither of us didn't enjoy it, neh?" She pulled back and sat down on the ground, near his feet. The small smirk on her face had grown slightly, and a bit of fear made a appearance in her stomach. This was her first time even hinting to a male that she was interested in him. She'd never had a chance to crush on any other Pan'luns, Thor being the only other male besides her brothers and father that she'd ever seen in her life.
So it was only natural that she'd be curious about this male, right?
Sofiel waited patiently for the male to respond.

Toshihiro could feel the fear growing more and more as Sofiel approached him with that smile lingering on her lips. He seriously did not like that expression...
It reminded him far too much of his mother...
Valin watched as his master flinched and clenched his eyes shut as the female flirted with him; while there was no denying the meaning behind the light blush growing on the males' face, his past was the only barring him from flirting right back at the crimson female. Darting past Ace and Sofiel, the tiny burrowing monkey grabbed hold of Toshi's horns as he perched on the dragons head while pleading for him to face the female.
"N-no...I....I can't!" He whimpered and opened his eyes as the flashbacks became worse. Glancing over at the teenager, he shook his head once and instantly took to the sky with Valin clinging for dear life. Once he was high enough, Toshi glanced back down and stared at Sofiel. His heart twisted at the thought of not knowing more about her...but fear can manipulate someone like a puppet, forcing him to leave his territory for the time being. He hovered there for a moment more, whispering a simple: "Im sorry...." before taking off towards someplace unknown even to him...

Sofiel felt her heart drop when the male started to panic. She hadn't meant to scare him again. A appology was just about to slip out of her mouth, when he took to the sky. Sofiel's breath caught in her throat, and she had to dig her claws into the ground to resist taking off into the sky to follow him. A tear dripped down her cheek, shocking her. 'Why am I crying?' Sofiel thought angrly to herself. Just because some guy turned her down and ran away from her (For the second time that day! Sofiel dully noted) shouldn't have hurt her like this. It was just one rejection, the next time she found a male, he'd have the two sense to go along with her flirting! 'Yeah, master. That's the way to think.' She felt Ace invade her mind, and shook her head trying to remove her familiar's voice.
She knew that Ace was just trying to make her feel better. Her familiar could probably feel her pain. Sofiel turned her eyes away from the bright blue sky, to look over at her companion. "Where to now, Ace?" Sofiel was shocked at how broken her voice sounded. Ace's expression told her that he was just as unpleasantly surprised. Ace whimpered to her, quietly and drew near enough to lean up against Sofiel. "Sorry, master." The coyote mummbled, trying to comfort her. Sofiel sighed and closed her sad golden eyes. "Where to, Ace?" She asked again, wanting to move on and forget about all of this. Ace took her lead, and started to circle the clearing that they stood in.
"Anywhere, I 'spose. We weren't really headed anywhere before...this. So lets just continue and see what's out here." Ace knew that it would be wrong to tell Sofiel to turn back and go home to her family. They would just cause more stress to the already hurt female. The best thing for her right now was to get this new male off of her mind.
Sofiel smiled lightly and nodded her head in agreement. "Well then, lead the way Ace." She got up from her place on the ground and went to stand next to the Coyote. Who knows where they'd go from here and who they'd meet. The only thought that lingered in Sofiel's mind was whether they'd ever cross paths with the male Pan'lun and his monkey again.
