Accident: Keeta leaves the painting on the floor while she goes to find her hammer and nails. Joel, who is just walking and learning to hold crayons comes upon it and starts to draw lines on it. (Assuming Bai-Shen used oils like Monet) In breaking through some of the thicker areas of paint with his crayon as he draws, he also manages to smear some of the undried paint underneath.
