MAKQ Static Thrash I use a Digitech Death Metal Pedal. It got some major kick, can't really use it without a tube amp though (which sucks for me, the owner of a terrible MG100 Half Stack). But when you plug it into a tube amp it grinds faces off. So basically... Pros: Badass distortion Mixer output Magnificent EQ Stompbox design Great warranty Works well with passive pickups (such as my Dimebuckers) Cons: Distortion is sometimes overbearing A little fuzzy on solid state amps EQ is a little too touchy sometimes that pedal doesnt sound that great : ( Well, it helps to have a decent tube amp! I like the pedal, sounds awesome to me smile

Yeah, I kinda know what you mean. If you equalize the pedal and your amp, then throw up a little bit of a flange or chorus for your solos, your set though biggrin

Then luckily, tone isn't like putting makeup on anything. Sound and visuals are two different animals smile Haha, it's still my favorite pedal I've used in a long time. What are you rockin' out right now for a pedal bud?

But them last two are mostly for recording .

No offense to those who use a lot, but I try not to fog up my playing. Since I play a mixture of Thrash and Death metal styles, too many effects will make it murky and notes start blending. This is also why I don't like fuzzy pedals. It all depends on what you are playing. EDIT: If it were up to me, I'd plug straight into a Krankenstein smile

I could only fog up your playing if your using bad pedals and if your dialing them in wrong .
