The dappled female eyed the larger dog for a few moments. "You're bigger, I guess that helps. My little legs wouldn't help me keep up..." She glanced down at her paws, then up at her child. "But my legs are good for bouncing! And I like bouncing and running!" By now, the dachshund was back up and hopping about. It seemed sitting still was pretty much impossible for longer than a moment or two.

Gem smiled, chuckling, her violet eyes moved up and down to watch the little dogs movement. "yes size does help i suppose" she grinned showing her glistening white teeth. "but your size has advantages too like being able to fit in small places, like if a child gets trapped in a small space you would be able to squeeze through the wreckage and fine them." She tilted her head to the side "bouncing is fun i suppose?" she furrowed her eyebrows thinking of the last time she had done something like that, as far as she knew it was when she was still a carefree pup.

Tahwen's tail wagged and she grinned. "That's true, I suppose. Being small is good sometimes! And so is big! It'd be neat if you could be big when you wanted and small when you wanted!" The dachshund bounced a bit more. "Oh yes, loads of fun! You should try it!"

Gem chuckled nodding *yep being small can let you sneak up on things more easily, where being big lets you reach higher places. There is good and bad things for each size.. but i suppose we are all just right for ourselves" she smiled. "being able to change size would be interesting, but what if you got sutck as one size?" she snickered imagining the little dog as a giant, destroying the city with her hyperness, it was an interesting thought. She shifted her legs awkwardly trying to attempt to bounce, but she couldn't make herself become impelled to do it and instead she just stood there awkwardly.

Tahwen paused in her bouncing for a moment, glancing at Gem. "Oooh, that would! Then I could be big and reach the treats they hide up so high! But I like being small! Small is fun! Plus, I fit on laps, which means pettings!" Tail wagging excitedly, the dachshund gave a laugh.

Gem chuckled nodding, her violet eyes following the little dog "i'm sure that would be fun" she grinned trying to restrain a snicker "very funny indeed" She tilted her head, shifting her weight to a more comfortable position. "ah i cant fit on laps" she grinned wolfishly," i do get to be petted every once and a while though" she laughed "if i tried to get on someones lap they would be squished!"
