Bag of Monster I can't stand One Piece in english. It hurts, physically. The Funimation version's better than the 4Kids, granted, but still. Adversely , however, I can't watch Samurai Champloo in Japanese. So I guess I can understand. That reminds me, I need to buy that on DVD. I've been re-watching Cowboy Bebop and freshly watching Full Metal Panic. YAY FOR PANY SHOTS FOR NO APPARENT REASON. I think Funimation puts out pretty competant dubs, so I enjoy the Funi dub for what it is. Though being friends with several of the voice actors involved does make me biased a bit. Meanwhile, I loathe most Geneon dubs (usually bang zoom productions), and it's usually a make or break deal for me if they dub something. Bandai dubs are okay (Bebop having probably the best one ever), though.

By far one of the better Animu's out there. Love it to this day.

It's not even really "anime" at this point. It's an almost perfect television show, and does not abide by many of the terrible cliches prevalent in 98% of most Japanese film/television.
Not to mention the obvious western influence.
It's one of the best television programs PERIOD.

+1 Cowboy Bebop
I think I become biased to the version of an Anime I see first. Like Cowboy Bebop, I saw the Jap'nese version first and prefer that one. However, I saw the English dub of Desert Punk first and couldn't stand to watch it in Japanese. Same with Azumanga Daioh. It just doesn't feel right to watch it in Jap'nese.

If I see it in one language first, I get attached to those voices, and it's harder for me to watch it any other way.

It's okay. We know it's not your fault, and there isn't any cure. It's about suppression. With time, and with counseling and medication, you can learn to cope with it. Maybe we can ease you off of it with some Fullmetal Alchemist or Death Notes.

I read it. Way too many fillers in the anime.

Never really got into Death Note, But FMA is pretty cool Loved Death Note, but it got confusing when I missed a couple of episodes. Going to see the second movie on the 14th. I like the tone of FMA but pretty much everything in that anime confuses me.
