Erm, I'm not sure if anyone's already made a thread about this, but I'm in loooooove with these games, even though I only played half of one. So, I guess we could talk about our favorite stuff from the game?

I love the off-the-wall humor.
The dialogue in those games is just insane...

I'm feeling such such a poseur for posting in this thread,
because I've only played a rom of Earth Bound
and didn't get very far at all.
Is it okay for me to talk about how awesome the game is
even though I barely played it??

Yeah, it's okay, i only played it till i got stuck at the haunted tunnel, and that was when I was dating this one guy, but since I broke up with him eons (and I mean, like years) ago, I haven't been able to play it. sad I even am a member on starmen.net! ninja

I've beaten EarthBound. 3nodding
I can't say anything about the other games (I'm waiting on the fan translation of Mother 3), but EB is one of my favorite games. The enemies in the game are hilarious at times, and the dialogue is awesome. The characters and story are great too though, and there's something about just traveling around in EB that I love.
@Yossy: There's nothing wrong with talking about something being good or bad without finishing it. One of my friends loves the game, and she's only gotten to Fourside so far.

I LOVE Earthbound! The crazy thing is, I originally didn't want to buy it when it was being sold over here new, but my Mom talked me into buying it because it was such a good deal since it had the game guide in it, too. Go Mom for having a great idea! I'm just sad that they halted the translation AGAIN for the others to come over here. I really need to pull my SNES out so I can play it again.

I've only played the EB rom. Its so trippy its funny, lol. I don't think I got Poo yet but I'm going to try.

I beat earthbound aswell... it's fun, I like the bubble gum monkey.. also the green worms in the desert!
