OK, I wanted to go to band camp over the summer, but my mom wouldn't let me because I already had two day camps and one overnight camp I was going to. So..... I'm already thinking about next summer. sweatdrop What are you band camp veterans' opinions of different band camps? Day camp or overnight? Should I go with friends? One on a college campus where you get to stay in dorms or..... what? Also, the reason I'm posting this is because I need to know how much I need to earn in order to go (There are several camps in my area) and most cost more than $250.

I've gone to something like band camp. During my school's band trip, we stayed at a camp, so we called it band camp.

Well band camp where I live is like 300 dollars a season, and its a day camp for 9 hours a day. And I love it, band camp is the best thing ever.

Band camp for us was pretty much "Hey, let's go to the high school everyday during the summer and play for seven hours."
It wasn't that bad, of course. I mean, yeah, my feet hurt...a lot. But that was okay. It was fun. For example, this one time at dinner, my friend Mike brought in bubbles and we were playing with them while one of the band directors took pictures of us. I got one in my eye. The grape-scent made it sting crying

mine was pretty much like mercury's but now it is under the power of the band director....we still have fun but wakeing up that early realy does cause ditzyness ...making many funny moments to laugh at

My band camp is pretty much "Hey lets go to the high school and practice for about 7 hours and then march around the block playing..... While its buring up" It wasnt all bad though On the last day pit who was of course inside the WHOLE time brought out water balloons and well yeah we Soaked our bd and yeah he made us run around the Whole block B4 we could leave so yeah... Its not all bad, Mostly just fun.
