Ours is "Music of the Day".
1st number- Lullaby (Symbolizes waking up and getting ready for the day)
2nd number- Awesome Jazz song, low brass has a cool part in this. Trumpet, trombone, and mellophone solos. (Symbolizes ... that everyone is jazzy.)
3rd number- Ballad. Trumpet, Mellophone, Tenor Sax solos. (Symbolizes that every day has its calm parts. This is a beautiful song that brings back good memories. If you could hear it you would probably cry, it's so pretty.)
4th Number- Awesome jazz song. Low brass has a prominent part in this, we basically get sectional solos, but clarinets are keeping the beat with really high 8th notes. (Symbolizes kind of a dark part for every day, which is why low brass has the main parts mostly)
5th number- same lullaby as the 1st number (Symbolizes the end of the day.)
Features parts from Music of the Day, Gangsta Jazz, and Spectrum.
It's amazing.

its pretty spiffy, now that i got into it.
but before i thought it was pretty lame.. XD;

We did Wicked my freshman year. Loved the music and it was really fun to preform. This year our show is called '1,001 Nights' with music from Scheherazade (composed by the same guy who wrote Flight of the Bumble Bee) eek We're earning a lot of brownie points because we don't have a drum major. The music is amazing and this is definitely my favorite show so far. Better yet, I'm conducting the ballad : D

The Wright Brothers - First to Fly It's pwnsum. Our first song is really cool (though at one point we have a mello feature to symbolize the plane crashing, but that's AWESOME), our ballad is ICE DANCE! (from Edward Scissorhands. Basically a letter home to dad) and then our closer... is pure awesomeness. Aaaaand I'm not in it, but I know EVERYONE on the field in it because we went to China in the summer for the Olympics whee Which meant band camp started RIGHT AFTER school let out xd
