I was thinking of turning my empty, completely inactive guild into another environmental guild. I don't care about making it better than this one, it's a really good guild already. It just would help to raise awareness of global warming and its effects. Should I do it? Or just help to advertise this one? Or both?

I think it would do more good just to stick with and promote one. Having two makes no sense - it would just keep people with similar interests more scattered, rather than uniting them.

But, if I had my own, I could invite users to the guild and make it seem more like I wanted that particular person to join, instead of just posting ads for this guild in the chatterbox where nobody cares. Normal guild member's can't invite other members, and I don't want to ask rikuHEART to me promoted, that might seem.. rude.

Hehe it's alright. I do agree that it'd be better to have everyone in one single guild so that we're not all "scattered" as Syera says it. Perhaps you could make yours focus more on one environmental issue? We could affy too! biggrin

You know? I think I'm going to make one. I have fun making banners and advertising guilds, and I've been saving images that'd make some good ones.
I'll go and start editing the front page now!

D'oh... for some reason, I thought KnittingKnerd was the owner of this guild when I first posted. So my thought processes were going, "one owner, two guilds with the same agenda? Errr..." (I've known of people who do things like that. wink )
