Yeah uh. I read about half of the first book of Twilight trying really hard to give it a chance because I'm so rude about it otherwise. All I can say is that while it's not necessarily OMG THE WORST THING EVER it IS incredibly BORING. Like. I've never read a book more boring. It was a whiny teenaged b***h complaining about NOTHING and obsessing over a guy I really wasn't interested in at all for thousands of pages. Every time a conflict came up that got my interest it was immediately resolved and turned into more wankery.

I really hope the kids who obsess over this series find something with more substance to it to obsess over.

Vampires kind of looked bad in the first place. I love vampires, but vampire stories usually have beauty seduction and romance and lots of personal suffering. So compared to werewolves and zombies they looked kind of faggoty. Twilight took what little dignity they had left.. I can't really explain this =/
The book is really popular for something a 10th grader could have written. Also vampires to not sparkle in the sunlight. Sunlight kills them. Silver kills werewolves, & zombies are killed by blowing their heads off. Don't change the rules!! D:
