AJ didn't hear the warning that Lamiah gave him, his mind was only on Damaris and not running into any cops as he sped towards the hospital.
Damaris was hollering at the doctor next to her, then as he moved re-directed her rage at a nurse. It was a good thing these people were all used to this sort of thing. Her disgruntled complaints were halted by a loud scream as she started to crown. It looked like she wasn't going to be in labor for nearly as long as some women, lucky for her.

Lamiah hung up the phone and found herself drifting back toward where the girl had been taken, going as far as she was allowed to go and waited there. She wasn't related to the girl in anyway though she found herself wondering how Valens was related to all of it... she hoped that it wasn't what she found herself thinking... no, no... she doubted that it was Valens's child. Still she found herself wondering none the less.
Valens's ears laid back at the sound of the girl's screams, shifting in place, and did his best not to show any weakness despite wanting to flee. Screaming made his flight response get overwhelming which made him rather dizzy...
And the doctor was working with the baby who seemed to be in quite a rush to go into the world, "Not to much longer." The doctor told Damaris, "Just another push and your baby will be born." He predicted from the speed of the labor thus far.

There were many things Damaris wanted to scream at the doctor, at Valens, at the world. Out of everything she wanted to say though, only screams came out.
Damaris pushed, and pushed, she would push all she could. It was lucky that she was still young and energetic enough to keep up enough energy to see her through this. She was also lucky that due to her age there were no related complications.
