Jyrem watched as Micah seemed to be considering the food. Was he not ready to eat something like this? Or perhaps..he would have preferred something else, something meatier? And then the other sank down into the food, eating with abandon. He didn't mind though, he knew how the other was and hadn't expected much differently.
Micah's expression became contrite as he apologized, becoming polite as he began eating slowly and deliberately. Did Micah think he'd disapproved? Jyrem remained silent a moment, thinking on how to handle it before he simply laughed, warm and amused. "Vallyn.." He shook his head, looking to Micah.
Jyrem smiled at Micah, "I know how you eat, Micah. I don't care, I'd rather you just eat how you want to." And then to reassure the other further, he set his fork aside and used his fingers to take several noodles, slurping them into his mouth with a grin. With a chuckle, he picked his fork back up and began eating, nodding to Micah's plate, "Dig in, slowpoke." Jyrem smiled warmly at Micah before looking to his plate as he took another bite.

ooc; Your changed your picture! such vibrant pretty hair you have :3 ------------------------------------
The laughter actually took Micah by surprise. He just hadn't expected it, that alone was obvious by the confusion on his face the look actually softening his features making him look rather like a lost child. He looked at Jyrem questioningly as if to ask what it was he didn't verbally ask. What on earth was so amusing. After the silence he'd hardly expected to be laughed at.
The words though made him visibly relax as if he'd suddenly let loose an arkward tension. Whatever snooty remarks he might have come up with then to cover his embarassment died before they were born. A small grin formed gradually building into a full fledged one unconsiously a small reflection of his old charm from a lost time in which he smiled more often.
With a small sound of feigned annoyance he continued eating as he had before thankfull for the more natural motion and certainly enjoying his meal better. Oh but this was good. It was all gone sooner than he wanted it to be but nevertheless he was sated even though and he looked it. Leaning forward elbows on the table he waited patiently till Jyrem finished wanting to do the dishes. That part he 'could' competently do without the need for any help.
"That was good" he said matter of fact, in its own way it was a compliment even if it was delivered in that simple Micah way.

(^___^ Thank you! *tacklez/hugglez* *givez you a cookie* X_X sorry I took so long by the way. T__T *pleads forgiveness* )
Jyrem knew his laughter had surprised the other. Why wouldn't it? But that was alright, better that the other be surprised then take umbrage where no offense was meant. And the other even relaxed, leading to a small grin that became a true one that made Jyrem smile even as he was beaming. His Micah, his Vallyn, was grinning..it warmed his heart.
The sound of annoyance made him chuckle. As the other finished and gave him a compliment, he beamed further, "Thank you, Val..I'm glad you liked it." He glanced to the pan, "Would you like more? There's plenty left." Jyrem seemed visibly cheered, more like how he'd been with Micah before the whole human-ish transformation thing.
Jyrem was happy, how could he not be? Micah was here with him, speaking, and now grinning. He'd managed to cheer the other a bit and had even gotten a compliment on his food. Food that he'd never cooked for anyone else before..it was wonderful.
