"Your choice this time!"
He smiled before turning and climbing back over the rocks to where they originally started.

Great! He liked choosing.
Mivu toddled back to the start of the rocky path, and eyed his other two options. The sandy, desert path. Or the tree path.
On one paw, he didn't really feel like climbing or jumping around any more. Those rocks were hard and pointy. So that would be ideal for the sand path.
Then again, he had never been to a jungle before. And he didn't really climb trees anyway, so he wouldn't need to jump around much for a jungle.
"This way!" He chose the rightmost path, the one with the most trees.

Amadi was happy with the choice. A desert sandy path looked a little boring to him but trees were interesting. There were lots of different creatures around trees. He was sure that there were on sandy paths too but he liked trees more.
"Have you been along here before?"
He had to ask, he was curious as to whether they were both exploring or just one of them.

Mivu shook his head and ducked under one of the lower branches as he led the way, exploring the newly chosen path. A bird sang high above them; a frog croaked nearby. Bush leaves rustled and the sense of danger was ever apparent.
"Nope, you?"
In fact, it was in actuality getting pretty late outside. He should return home before his mother began searching for him. But Mivu kept going deeper into the trees, ignoring his conscience.

Amadi had noticed the sky getting darker and amoung the trees it seemed darker then normal and it made him somewhat uneasy.
"Maybe we should look here another day. Father will want to know where I am and its getting late." There wasn't really a maybe about it, he had already decided that he was going home.
"I will see you again some other time. Bye!" He smiled and ran back the way he came to go and find his father. It had got so late and he hadn't even realised.

Yeah, that was probably a good idea.
"Sounds good, see you later!" Mivu called out to his friend as he left for home. Now, to find out which was his home was...
He glanced around, from direction to direction, and finally saw something familiar one way. With a happy smile, he ran in that direction, towards home.
