So, groups of five unless they CLEARLY belong to the same catagory? I really don't want to split up the JLA's big seven.

Five's just an arbitrary number I made up. We could make the numbering whatever we like. For example, the JLA's seven go together while Spiderman might fit better solo rather than put with four other Avengers, since most of what he's known for is solo.

You could stick Spidey with the "new Avengers" Or with Iceman and Firestar :big
STill not sure how I feel about that title.
Anyway, I agree, though you may be able to put Spidey in a group with Black Cat and Daredevil.

I think grouping independent characters together like that would work as long as they're not too radically different. Phoe: Stick to the basics; with other X-men characters. Twas a joke, dummy. And if we go by the grouping, then anime and manga are easy, as they usually have fewer people and can mostly be covered in one or two threads.

I think the JLA's big seven need their own threads because honestly there's so much info for each of them. Besides, some of them have their own "families" like Superman and Batman. I would see the Supes thread going like this:
Superman- Pre Crisis Superman - Post Crisis Superman - Superman Prime
Supergirl - Linda Lee Danvers - Cir El - Kara Zor El
Superboy - Connor Kent
Superpets - Krypto - Streaky - Beppo - Comet
The Batman thread would go a little something like this:
Batman - Bruce Wayne - Azrael - Terry McGinnis
Robin - d**k Grayson - Jason Todd - Timothy Drake - Stephanie Brown Stephanie, I believe Yes, it is but what's her last name? Darned if I know. I started reading Batman with Wargames, and by then . . . well, you know.
Batgirl - Barbara Gordon - Helena Bertinelli - Cassandra Cain
Other - Alfred - Selina Kyle - Ace

I like the 1-30 range Attributes that need to be measured: Intellect Strength Agility Speed Durability
Combat Skill Skills (not just combat) Techniques/Powers
Character Types may fall into good catagories but the above is a must for comparisons... Now as far as some of these go a good source for info on Marvel Characters is the Marvel Universe (Diceless RPG) the Character Stats were aproved by the Creators of Marvel Comics... and I had gotten several e-mails from this Game Creators before the Game went Belly up. I have every book in this series... I also have extensive collections of the Classic game which also used canon to determine what characters could do.

The 1-30 range for each skill would be very hard to determine in some cases. Spider-man for instance, sometimes shows little fighting ability other than hopping around. Other times he fights evenly with people in his own power range who have had YEARS of training from fighting experts...

Thats why I try to keep Combat Skill, Regular Skills, Powers and Techniques separated... Intellect, Strength, Agility, Speed, Durability, and Endurance are the Key abilities that need to be compared.

I'm all for having teams be put together. It just makes sense and would make them easier to find.
Give me a call when you start putting down the stats for the Marvel characters. Oni and Jak could hopefully back me up for helping with that part. 3nodding

I trust you enough to use canon and such. As for helping, I'm not entirely sure what I can do for Marvel outside of Daredevil and Mystique. I have general knowledge. sweatdrop
