Personally, I think the two will live in harmony in the arcade, mostly because of the different audiences they draw. With DDR they're ready to step it up, and with GH they're ready to rock. Either way, Konami makes some extra cash(they're helping with the process of bringing it to the arcades)

Like with the Hokuto no Ken "Punch as fast as you can" arcade game. Knami's in the money lately.

BlazBlue has me skeptic, but then again, I'm not much for GG, and the styles are very similar.

It's kinda hard for a new person to break into but I guarantee it's tons of fun*actually played a beta of the Japanese arcade release way back in July of last year*. I only hope the net play is butter smooth

I think one of the most all consuming games out in any country is Love Plus. I think any game that can threaten to end a marriage is one that definitely shouldn't be taken lightly

Never heard of that game. Oh, and I was actually kinda disappointed overall with blazBlue. Both on character design and gameplay. The characters just look like they all came out of some DeviantArtist. Not one of the good ones, mind you. Kinda like they focused on covering fetishes more than making them genuinely interesting.

I like it, personally. For some reason the overall feel draws me in and keeps me improving my mindgame. However I am disappointed Sega won't be releasing VF5R for the consoles anytime soon. That game is too finely tuned and introduces too new stuff to just stay in the Japanese arcades, even if it didn't perform as expected(which is happening to Tekken 6, too, from what I'm hearing).
Regarding Love Plus, the 1st part of the game is like a normal dating sim where you choose to go after one of 3 girls. When you finally woo her over, you have the option to switch it to real time, where you have to watch over her 24/7, sending her little messages and stuff here and there to make her happy. That's where the game truly draws it's marriage ruining addiction from.
