Mariel suddenly felt like she had missed out on some huge activity, the way Ligeia had reacted to her lack of snow knowledge. She felt a little sad but was immediately excited when he offered to show her what snow was. She really had no idea how he planned to do it, well maybe he had snow with him, maybe it was a toy!! She found herself getting excited over what this snow would be.
She nodded her head enthusiasticaly, "Yes I would like to see snow." Just watching them prepare to get the snow was exciting in and of itself. Vorel seemed to be smoking, it was as though he had swallowed a hot coal and his spit was causing it to steam. But then again she didnt feel anything hot, no...infact did it just get a little colder? Mariel looked around for a moment before looking back at her babysitters. She decided that maybe a step back was a good idea and so she move a little way back from the pair, just incase they would need space to do whatever was nessesary to make snow happen, or appear, or whatever it did.

"Alright, ready Vorel?" Ligeia said, gathering his own power into his hands readying the ice element just as his dragon breathed out the thick, icy fog from his mouth. The owl had learned a long time ago that working with his dragon he was able to more powerful spells because he didn't have to create the entire spell himself. Getting some of the regents from Vorel also made it a lot less exhausting to cast as well.
The magic he had gathered swirled forward through the icy fog, shifting it from a damp fog to large, white flakes that started to fall around the three of them.
The snow didn't last for long, a minute or two at the most but it would show her what snow was and it Geia gave a little smile as he leaned against Vorel, needing a moment to catch his breath. The spell had been a bit of a drain on him even with the help of his dragon due to the complexity and size of it but at the same time it gave him ideas for other spells.

((since we both havent posted in this for a while I'm gonna put in a finishing post if that ok with you xD I just realised it wasnt finished yet))
Mariel stared, wide eyes sparkling with curiosity,surprise, happiness, and all kinds of emotions as she watched the owl conjure up small white flakes from Vorels breath. She let out a delighted squeal and ran around trying to catch as much as she could to be able to get a closer look at the white stuff. It was cold to the touch and when she tasted it it was like water and melted to nothing in her mouth! It was definately a strange and wonderfull new substance that she deemed worthy of study. Especially since it seemed to turn to water, and she LOVED water. She held her hand full of snow and gave Ligeia a big childish grin.
"Snow!" She half pointed out half showed him. The snow didnt last very long and soon it was all melted away but Mariel was even more curious about everything that awaighted her when she got older. She could be a super hero and she could make snow, and maybe she could one day play hide and seek with Vorrel in REAL snow that wouldnt melt right away and turn into water. Mariel was brimming with excitement and happiness. Suddenly she heard the keys turning in the locks of the front door and bolted towards the sound.
"Mamma mamma SNOW!" She yelled happily. She couldnt wait to see her mom and tell her what happened. How she wanted to get a baby Vorrel one day because all superheroes had dragons and now after meeting Ligeia she definately couldnt wait to find out about her powers and be a superhero too!
