Genki had stumbled into the Kokitsu Plaza, and he was almost overwhelmed by how huge it was. There were humans everywhere, shopping left and right. He spotted a few cats strolling about, unnoticed by the humans... and hopefully he himself was unnoticed by the feline strangers. Territories were everywhere, it seemed, and Genki had to watch his back. His collar stubbornly remained around his neck, but it was getting more stressed from the gnawing and clawing. It was some policy for stray, or outside, cats to get rid of their collar. Plus, it would keep him safe from those pound guys.
He wondered where his owner could be, and he has been told to give it up and live the carefree life. The young cat still felt it really wasn't so easy, but that's because he was on his own.
The Manx heaved a sigh when his stomach grumbled.. Fortunately, there were food shops around here.. Maybe he could even beg for food, but he didn't know which were the hospitable shop owners, and which were not.

 Marshall had stolen a fish only because noone had given him one today and he wasn't really hungry considering that he had eaten some cat food he had stumbled upon last night, Well not some but all that he could and he was still pretty stuffed. There was no way that this Russian blue could miss a meal, that might kill him. As he jumped off the fish mongers cart he had been noticed, thinking on his feet Marshall made a run for it, watching behind him as he ran he didn't notice the Small brown and white manx in front of him, He slammed into the cat causing them to tumble around for a while before they came to a stop.
Marshall jumped up smoothing out his now messed fur, " holy crap oh my god, I touched it" he whined as he furiously cleaned his coat, " now I'm gunna need a bath again, I just gave myself one this morning" he mumbled licking at his Grey fur, he had forgotten about the fish that had gotten him here, leaving it discarded so that he could clean himself.

It just happened so fast! By the time Genki noticed a gray feline speeding in his direction, it was too late. He almost had the lights knocked out'a him as he tumbled, his eyes expressed as dizzy swirls. However, he was quick to recover as he sat up, shaking his head. What on earth...
And now he was just blinking at the Russian Blue, who was now preening himself and complaining about getting fish goo on his precious coat. The Manx found it somewhat amusing, but was easily distracted by the fish that had flopped onto the ground.
"Er, 'scuse me, but are you gonna uh.. finish that?"
If he wasn't such a nice cat, he probably would have grabbed the finish and took off... but he really didn't want to make enemies with anybody.

Marshall looked up at the manx glaring slightly mostly only because that thing had touched him, no matter if it was by accident or not he was not happy about it, "Yeah you can have it" He grumbled As he lapped at the fishy gunk that was coating his fur, " s**t, son of a b***h this isn't gunna come out" He whined as he cleaned himself. He wasn't mad at Genki He was just mad about the fact that there was dirty.

Wow. That cat sure was irritated.
Genki would give a small shrug of his shoulders.. or whatever gesture it would make it seem so, and began to pick at the fish with his teeth. When the delicious flavor reached his taste buds, he began to eat a little more ravenously... well.. not too pigishly.
"You really should have some -- this is pretty good! I'm Genki, by the way. What's your name?"
Always the friendly cat, he was.
"Y'know, there's a fountain now far from here.. If you don't mind getting wet, you could probably wash yourself out there.. or maybe roll around in this one garden. You don't smell that bad, honestly."
That was because fish smelled good to him.

"Water would be wonderful!" Marshall said with a nod as he stopped furiously cleaning himself to talk, "I'm Marshall" He said with a nod as he pawed at the goo on his tail, " How long have you been a stray? I see you still have your collar like he" He said trying to scowl at the thing stuck around his neck. " Do you have a place to sleep cuz I have this thing, I think Its called a hoodie, and Its in the front seat of this car and thats where I sleep" He said talking quickly, He was pretty nervous around Genki because well he kinda sorta was crushing on the white and brown manx, not that he had meet any other males but Hire and Kouji, He couldn't help but put on his sweetest smile for the other.

Genki wasn't expected that answer, since cats usually hated water. The Manx himself was fine with it, because his master would give him such relaxing baths... Well, used to.
Well, it was nice to know this cat wasn't actually mean at all. It made Genki grin. "Nice to meet'cha!"
Then came that question. "It's been a while now.. This thing --" he tugged at his collar with a claw "is taking forever to get off. I think I'm almost there, though.. you think?"
There was a bunch of tears on the collar from biting and scratching, but it was still around his neck. Stubbornly. "I was told by some strays that I won't get far around the city with a collar on. They don't take well to.. to pets. Umm.. nope, I just sleep wherever it's safe, and that sounds pretty comfortable."
He blinked when he noticed Marshall seemed kind of nervous, and gave another tilt of his head. "You okay? Want to head down to that fountain now or wait 'til later at night?"

"This thing," Marshall said scratching at the tattered dark blue collar, "This thing is more annoying than anything else, I don't really mind it but I don't want to be hurt or rather touched for having it on, because I don't like being touched." Marshall said before resuming trying to clean himself and sighing, "If your done there I wouldn't mind going to get cleaned up now, but finish eating first" He told Genki, "I don't have anything to do but go back to the Car and listen to Roxy irratate the s**t out of me" He said watching Genki.

"Okay~"
Genki began to gnaw on the fish more, but he became conscious of how he ate it, so he ate it as.. non-pigg-ishly as he could. He purred as he ate, though, because the fish tasted so good.
"Who's Roxy?" he asked after swallowing, glancing up at Marshall with a bright smile. Then he took a final bite of the fish, and the fish was nearly a skeleton now.

Marshall smiled at him, " Roxy's this girl.......... and she doesn't wear clothes, and she likes to touch me for no apparent reason, She also liked to throw things on me so I get dirty, like last week...... She flung some mud on me and It took me like two days to get off/" He said with a small sigh, "She's an alright girl most of the time, but she's not nice" It was the nicest way he could tell someone that Roxy was a b***h with out down right out saying it.

"At least she lets you stay with her at her place," Genki chirped, his hind leg raising to get an a small itch behind his collar. Roxy seemed to be eccentric, and a chick with attitude... he hasn't run into any of those yet. He was curious about this individual all the more.
"Let's go and get you cleaned up. I feel a bit bad for making you wait.. I haven't had a meal since yesterday, eh heh."

"It was my place first, she just kinda moved into the back seat." Marshall said scrunching his nose, at the thought of Roxy. "I ate last night, there was some cat food on someone's porch and well I couldn't help it, I try to never miss a meal" He said smiling softly, "I'm still a pretty pampered kitty" He said with a shrug. "lets go to that fountain" He said standing ans streaching.

"Oooh."
Genki almost bounced as he padded alongside Marshall: now that his stomach was full, he was in an even better mood. The cat was usually happy-go-lucky, looking to the bright side.. and trying to stay on the bright side. He led Marshall to the nearby fountain, which sat in the center of a circle, and it was a statue of bunched up carp. The water flowed from their mouths and into the small pond below. The water itself was shallow, with coins scattered at the bottom.
He leaped up onto the edge and peered down at the water, and his little stump of a tail wagged a little as he pawed at the water. People would wander what a pair of cats were doing near the water.
"How'd you meet Roxy?"
