Bad connection but it reminds me of Zao. No origional members, yet the name still stands. In my opinion, once all the orgional members leave, it's not the same band. Change the name.

It's utter bullshit. The name stays with the creator UNLESS he or she gives right to the name. By no means should somebody usurp a band name, especially if it's well known like Gorgoroth.
As for Zao, I can see the connection, but things like this changes the band a lot and that I cannot stand for. They should just find a new name or something...

Tormentor - Guitars (Desekrator, Orcustus, Gaahlskagg, Norwegian Evil)
Frank Watkins - Bass (Obituary, Hellwitch)
Tomas Asklund - Drums (Dark Funeral, Dawn, Dissection)
the current false lineup of gorgoroth is:
Gaahl
King (Sahg)
Ice Dale (Audrey Horne, new Enslaved)
Nicholas Barker (ex-Dimmu Borgir, ex-Cradle of Filth)
i'm glad to see pest return, though i would've preferred hat. still, the true lineup looks like it's going to be pretty damned good, and the false lineup looks pretty mediocre.
also, apparently a final trial date has been set for infernus v. king. it is to occur sometime in january, in oslo. let's hope the norwegian courts make the right decision and give infernus the name.
