DarklingGlory Thru the hand? Interesting... And if someone shoots a gun at him, he tries to catch the bullet between his teeth? lol not quite, i am doubtful about the knife thing too, but who knows, i am not gonna try it. As far as guns i was thought only one counter and i would like to hope not to be put into that situation.

Weapon preference... hmm. I like the brass knuckles, and steel toe boots because they enhance the power of my capoeira art. It also helps in training to have them on adding weight to my movements. I like the nunchaku, but when it comes to a preference I'll bash a person in with brass knuckles.

i prefer a gun or knife (depends on situation)
but a rock can be just as effective if I need it!!! XD
a skilled person can use anything as a weapon and Id rather just be able to utilize the world around me....but a glock wouldn't hurt my chances!! hahaha

I don't know how to use many weapons, but my favorite/specialty is the bo staff. I like the range and the speed I can get with the attacks. However, if there's a gun I can use, I'm using the gun. =)

I prefer short range weapons, especially brass knuckles and nunchaku, because they allow me to still effeciently use capoeira in combat.
In capoeira I've been tought to use knives, machetes, and the bo but I still like to use brass knuckles because it barely interrupts many of the moves I do in Capoeira.
As far as the nunchaku go, I just really like the weapon and have intergrated into my own capoeira art.

any object i can grab and move easily...im learning bo staff for strength, but i prefer speed + accurate. unless i become really efficient with bo staff...throwing rock will have to do

I took Shaolin North Fist for years and years, and I do love Bo, and my favourites have always been ranged like the Meteor (we called it), but my all time favourite is the fan. A medium-sized, interwoven silk fan. Not only can it protect from most smaller bladed weapons and swords (and arrows back in the day), but it's relatively light and you can carry it with you anywhere. And, blocking the opponent's eyesight can come in handy if you have to defend yourself.
It is completely useless though if you're defending yourself from a person with a gun. No good =(
