This was a nice rest. The fight up until now had loosened them both up, but as far as Cain was concerned, it was little more then a warm up. Now that he didn’t have to protect his identity, it left him with a little more freedom. He didn’t have to try and be someone he wasn’t, didn’t have to hold back or pull punches. It was finally time for him to man up and take this victory by force.
Now that his mask was gone, his true mana signature was revealed to his opponent, but his mind was still inaccessible. The sonic broadcast his opponent was letting off came close enough to speech that he could understand it. Taking up a calm stance, legs planted at shoulder width and his arms down to his sides, Cain nodded. The grin planted on his lips was calming. He was calm. He was ready to continue…
Good thing too. With Kendo closing in to strike, Cains eyes seemed to zone out once more. As the palm came in to strike, his body moved in kind. Pivoting on his leg, he turned away at a speed matching the acceleration of the blow. Staying only inches in front of the strike until he let it slide off to his side. His face remained the same, calm and serene, and he made no attempt to strike back. A reaction that was much unlike how he had fought to this point.

Once again the Sage had expected the attack to be dodged or deflected in some way. Not doing so would have been foolish. Such was the point of feint. What made the Kitsune's feint any different from others was the fact he not only had the standard four appendages but a fifth to work with.
Striking low independently from the rest of his body, the tail moved to cut his opponents footing from beneath him.
Chaining from his open palmed strike, the snow fox thrust his one attacking arm into the bend of his attacking arm, abruptly changing it into a piercing elbow strike aimed for his opponents side.

That tail was no longer a secret weapon. It’s length was still rather surprising, and the precision with which he moved it equated the limb more with a monkey then with a fox. As it whipped around to strike his legs, his legs rose from beneath him. He didn’t jump, simply lifted his legs. When the thrust began to bend into an elbow strike, Cains hand moved up between the blow and his body and simply pushed off from it.
He seemed to float back away from his opponent, his hair trying to stay put but was simply being dragged along with the rest of him. Floating back only a couple feet, he lowered his legs back down and stared at Kendo with droning eyes. The heat from the lava was starting to become obvious again. Sweat started pooling beneath his headband, and if he'd turned around, he would have noticed edge of the ring only twenty or so feet behind him. Pacifism wasn't usually a good tournament tactic, but it had been employed none the less.

Throughout the entire match the sage had been trying to keep his magic usage to a minimum. But entirely omitting it from his being would be like severing a limb.
His resolve broke.
The boy liked dancing around too much. He would have to fix that. Channeling mana through his thrusting hand, the old fox molded it with his very aura focusing it through is attacking elbow.
Though unplanned having his opponent absorb the force of his elbow strike proved more fortuitous than he could have imagined.
At the point of connection the unwitting warrior would feel what one could initially be thought to be just a static shock. Within the next few seconds, amplified by his bodies own electrical signal the light sting would soon evolve into a body enveloping wave of numbness followed by an excruciating wrenching wavelength of raw current exiting through his back.
Speaking through the very attack that had been through his elbow the sage's voice would flow through the formerly masked warriors very being.
"Wind based magics like this are my favorites. I call it the volt lance. I centralized it mainly through your nervous system. It won't cause any permanent damage that way."
Numbess and muscle signal lag would likely persist long after the man got his bearings back. Such was main point of the attack.

Magic… magic was still something Cain had very little experience with. His hand pushed away from his opponent just as the static began to build within him. Part of hit transferring to his ring was reflected back at the sage, but the rest shot up his arm. As it came to the bottom of one of his inner sleeves, it quickly dissipated and was absorbed harmlessly into his body.
Landing back a few feet from his opponent, his face looked down in shock at his arm. Twisted around, his palm faced outward, his muscles tensed to an almost painful extreme. Though it looked rather disturbing, the actual pain that should have followed was fought off by a blissful numbness.
It was only a moment later when he looked back up at Kendo. He was chuckling lightly, though he hadn’t gotten the message that was sent, he seemed to understand what was going on. He shook his head in disbelief, and looked down at his other arm. Bending it at the elbow, his fingers waived back and forth as he seemed to test it for usefulness. Something was processing in his mind, and after a brief moment he spoke.
“You should stick to your magic, dude. Then you might actually ********’ HURT ME!” As his voice rose, it was probably obvious that he was going to act. The speed of his action, on the other hand, may not have been so easily preconceived. His good arm accelerated forward, adrenalin pumping through his veins. Moving at easily thrice the speed he’d been moving at during any part of the match thus far and his knuckles were perched to strike first.
The blow was aimed squarely at the fox’s stomach. As his fore-knuckles would hit, they would collapse and be followed by the flat of his fist. As the flat hit, his hand would open back up, the flick of his fingers executing a third strike. This attack was one of the strongest and most devastating that Cain knew, and if it hit would either pulverize his body or fling hi across the arena. Maybe even both.

A sharp pain rose through the sage's arm it constricting for a second and falling limp. Seemingly his spell technique had been thwarted by some unseen means.
Unable to pass signal his hung limply, paralyzed and unresponsive to the signals from his brain. Crackling with electric discharge he grimaced for a moment his expression darkening.
Shifting his footing, the sage let his other arm sag as if to balance it out against its sister limb. Watching his opponent intently as the man struck out with a blow to his abdomen, the sage seemingly stumbled forward as if he had lost his balance.
Rolling over his opponent's attacking arm his legs swinging over his head from behind coming down in a wheel kick across the back of his opponents skull.
It was bizarre movement which utilized the looseness disproportions of the upper body to perform.

Cain had no idea what was going on. No matter how fast his actions were, his opponent was always quicker; even moving as fast as he physically could, it still wasn’t enough. But he wasn’t the fast man alive, being faster then a human seemed to be a qualifier for this tournament, and if his speed wouldn’t win him the match, then he’d depend on something he put a little more weight in.
This current counter was… un-orthodox. Kendos foot connected squarely with the back of his skull. His neck cushioned the blow slightly, but not to any extreme. He ignored the headache it brought on, and continued his assault. Throwing a duplicate of his last punch, he hoped a second strike would end with a more satisfactory result.

This fight would likely forever be embedded in the mind of the Kitsune, as he had likely had to perform maneuvers he had merely theorized in other confrontations.
His opponent was incredibly skilled, but something about his moves-set seemed all too direct.
Upon connect with his wheel kick, in his experience most would fall back and regroup themselves. Such did not seem the case here. Rolling with the momentum of his legs his upper body once more was on top rather than facing downward.
Digging his heels into his opponents back and proceed to push off and back flip in the opposite direction. His enemies lack of backing off made this possible.

Things were going better, Cain decided after he stumbled forward. Turning around to see his opponent soaring high in the air, closer and closer to the edge of the ring, he grinned. He did not stumble, nor pause to take in what was going on; he simply acted. If the fox wanted to win now, he would have to use magic, because Cain was taking his physical actions out of the picture.
Turning his body so that his right side was facing his opponent, he raised his right foot and threw it at the ground. With his foot angled away, he threw two strikes down at the same spot on the ground. A crater, much like the one formed before, emanated from his foot. This one, unlike the first, was shaped as a cone. Starting at his foot, it quickly progressed all the way out to the edge of the lava. As the debris shot into the air, lava quickly spilled in to fill the crater. Cain jumped back to avoid the inrush, then looked up to his opponent. He wanted to see how he would get out of this.

Grinning broadly the sage grasped tails of his blood red scarf it expanding into a great flowing cloak. Utilizing the hot air above the lava he kept himself afloat in mid air like a hot air balloon.
Momentarily gliding he extinguished the cloak back into a scarf landing a some distance behind his opponent. Wagging his finger he rose once again to his feet.
Now it was his turn to watch and wait.

Cain laughed as Kendo soared over his head, clapping as he came in for a landing. Cracking his knuckles as Kendo turned to face him, Cain didn't waste any time to gawk at his gravity defying opponent. Accelerating rapidly as he closed the distance between them he came in with a flurry of fists, elbows and knees all designed to see if he could even land a solid blow and to find out what kind of speed or tricks it would take. None were incredibly powerful, but if they hit clean they could still crack a bone or three.

The sage did not watch long as the boy rushed upon him attacking with reckless abandon. Gone was the patience he had seen his opponent attack him with before. Having shifted into a Wushu inspired stance the kitsune found himself forced into a more defensive pattern than prior, due to the lag of his arm.
Pushing aside an elbow, he side stepped around a knee only be staggered by a well place punch. Blocking languidly his by now numb arm was struck with a resounding crack.
With a cold grimace he switched abruptly to a Tae Kwon do stance. he proceeded to pulverize blows before they could come to fruition with a series high speed kicks being snapped form different angles.
Stopping a knee with sole of his boot, he spun off launching a crushing roundhouse toward his opponents right side.

Cain was amazed by the number of martial styles his opponent was trained in. Under normal circumstances he would have called him foolish for using so many styles; a fighter of many arts was a master of none. But in this case, just the opposite seemed to be true, this man truly was a master of many arts. His experience was far beyond his year, though Cain didn’t know his real age, he looked pretty young.
With blows blocked left and right, the kick came as quite a surprise. Planting his left foot, he tucked arm tight against his body and took the kick full force. Grunting as the shin sunk into his armor and muscle, he pushed it away, simultaneously throwing a stiff backhand at whatever part of his opponents body was easily in range.
Pushing off to follow Kendo, he pulled his arm back and threw a strong jab to his face. Banking on the fact that his opponent would dodge and try to counter, Cain planned to wrap his arm in, grab Keno by the back of the skull and bash it against his own. People had always told him he was hard-headed, now looked like a good time to use it.

It was clear that his right arm was fractured and annoyingly enough it was starting to be able to move properly. If he had time, he would reset it and let the blood of lazuras do its work.
Forced back by the backhand punch the sage shifted from Tae kwon do to Jeet Kune do. Hopping in place despite the discomfort it put on his arm. Exploding forward he met the incoming jab by deflecting it with a backhand punch.
Throwing his weight on his back leg, he then performed a reverse back flip kick at close range to attempt to knock his opponent airborne. The maneuver was an attempt to keep the man from advancing while still giving him some breathing room to reset his arm.

The one-legged stance was not one he was familiar with, and given that unfortunate fact he was taken aback by the precision and strength of the flip-kick. Catching his toe squarely beneath the jaw, the strike lifted him from the floor. Landing straight back down, he staggered toward Kendo.
He’d been knocked out of his wits slightly, but it seemed he’d instinctively taken up a drunken-boxing like stance. Leading with his shoulder he fell into the fox. Planting his leg behind Kendos, he threw the rest of his weight onto him. He didn’t even realize that the fight was soon to draw to a close, he just kept fighting on.
