I think the orbs are before my time. Does anyone know what they are for? Are they something that might be used later for the ZOMG game or what?

Good question... I really have no clue, but they're cheap items, methinks. You mean the things like the Mountain Orb, Water Orb, and Shadow Orb? I have a couple of those, but they're pretty useless right now :/

I collected orbs when I first started Gaia, thinking, "Oooh, preeeetty...!" But... They don't really have a use. I think it's just a random item. >_>

still id say collect a few. i used to play an mmo and monsters would drop mysteiouse tickets with no apparent use so they were sold cheaply. then something opened up that required these tickets and the prices went way up.

They were quest items when Gaia was advertising Magic The Gathering.
The five orbs correspond to the five types of 'mana' you can use.
Unfortunatly they are nothing to do with the zOMG mmo.

No, I kid, I kid. x3 But it makes sense. I came around after they were released, and of course I don't play Magic, so it's good that someone knows. lol
Don'tcha love the cute little kids who voted for that name? It needs to stand for something, in my opinion. >.>

Side note? zOMG sounds Gaia-like, I don't see what the issue is. Okay so it doesn't sound EPIC but this is a cartoony website.
