Ok, I have a 70 hunter on Silvermoon, All epics besides like 2 blues, and I realllly like him. Because he owns. But Im really bored of having just a HUNTER as my 70. And I wanna make a healer because thats what my guild is rlly desperate for atm, I currently have a 40 priest I made like 3 weeks ago. And I also have a 20 druid Im in looove with. I just wanna know that when WotLK is revealed to us, which one will eventually be a kick a** healer. a druid, or priest. AND theres also my 20 pally ready to be leveled. I could always spec him holy in end game like raiding and poo, but Out of those like 3, which one would be the best healer out of all of em. razz i know two are 20 and anothers 40, but I dont mind leveling more and more, I think its fun personally razz

Well, I'm very partial to priests, but I've played them for over 3 years. Healing is fun on them because they are versatile in their healing styles. But with my feral druid, I take her resto once in a while and it's fun with all the HoTs and being able to figure out timing. I'm assuming that timing bit will play as much in WotLK as it does in BC (as it did not in classic).

Both have the option to have pewpew modes to level and with appropriate gear can still pewpew a bit on their own. (My priest, healing spec in Kara when doing pure DPS can hit about 800 dps on her own from what I found out once on a whim.) As for paladins...everyone I've talked to but maybe three people (all of whom have multiple healing toons), said they liked their priest/druid/shaman better.

I'd probably say stick with the priest, but it's whatever you want to play. If you get really stuck, level both and see!

Other healers are nice too though. Priests may have a lot of different ways to heal a target, and also cure magic and disease effects really fast, but they die VERY fast when aggroing...
Druids in tree form also have nice healing spells, and Palas/Shamans got some major armor to stand on their 2 feet with.
I guess it's just a matter of HOW you want to heal, 'cus the healing part is doable with a lot of other classes biggrin

Personally - I leveled and played a priest (rekindle) On silvermoon. Then I raided until T5, then Xfered off to get better raid times for myself. My favorite healer is also a priest. Strong Aoe heals as CoH - And Single Target; Also if bored you can always spec shadow and become your own groups battery :]
