Battousai Akuma C'mon Grave you supposed to know these things man...kidding with ya xd But yea I did see one book in borders (cant remember the name) that had cover art from a lot of different bands in Heavy Metal...only thing it had some art from bands as I said above from RHCP, Nirvana, Rage Against the Machine I believe as well. All good bands but definitely not Metal. I'd think a good accurate book about metal would be hard to come by, if it even exists.

i an christ does know his stuff so does sam dunn from metal: a headbangers journey true some things weren't completely accurate and just yesterday i had a discussion with my dad and he even said that the other genre's dont exist except for thrash and speed it bloody pissed me off maybe not in his day but today definatley grannit heavy metal barely made it onto the scene when he was growing up

Battousai Akuma I am curious is there a good resource to read on the history of Heavy Metal. I did see one book but it was kinda inaccurate for the latter years...talking about Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers.... confused look up "sound of the beast: the complete headbanging history of heavy metal" by ian christe. i enjoyed that one very much
